The flue-cured tobacco variety ’K326’ as material,this paper discusses the effect of the different harvesting types for the upper tobacco leaves on the main economic characters &its economic character index,physical traits,appearance and sensory quality,and key chemical components and its chemical components using index of the crude tobacco under the new moderate temperature/moderate humidity curing technology.The results of the upper tobacco 6-leaves under the new moderate temperature/moderate humidity curing technology showed that it as the following:1.Main economic characters and economic character indexSuch as the main economic characters the ratio of topped tobacco,average price,output value of the treatment with two times collection increased 6.98%,9.13% & 16.57% in turn,significant more than that of the treatment with one-off collection;and its economic character index is 5.3 significant more than that of the treatment with one times harvested;ECI of the low position tobacco leaves is significant more than that of the high position leaves.2.Appearance and sensory quality evaluation of the crude tobacco leavesTotal score of weight score of the appearance quality evaluation of the treatment with two times collection is significant more than that of the treatment with one-off collection;Appearance quality evaluation of the low position of the upper tobacco leaves is significant more than that of the high position of the upper leaves.Total score of weight score of the sensory quality evaluation index such as aroma quality,heterozygosity,chroma,thrill,strength & after taste with one-off collection is significant more than that of the treatment with two times collection;and total score of weight score of sensory quality evaluation of the low position of the upper tobacco leaves is significant more than that of the high position of the upper tobacco leaves.3.Crude tobacco main physical traitsMain physical traits such as leaf weight and opening degree of the treatment with two times collection are significant more than that of the treatment with one-off collection,and such as thickness,leaf density & stem ratio of the treatment with two times collection are significant less than that of the treatment with one-off collection;such as leaf weight,opening degree,stem ratio and equilibrium moisture content of the low position of the upper tobacco leaves is significant more than that of the high position of the upper tobacco leaves,and such as thickness & leaf density are less than that of the high position of the upper tobacco leaves.4.Crude tobacco leaves key chemical components and its chemical components using indexHarmony of the treatment with two times collection among the crude tobacco leaves key chemical components is better than that of the treatment with one-off collection,CCUI of the treatment with two times collection increased 3.76% more than that of the the treatment with one-off collection;Harmony of the lower position of the upper tobacco leaves is better than that of the upper position of the upper tobacco leaves.5.Total amount of carotenoid aromas and neutr incenseThe total amount of nonenzymatic browning product,carotenoid aromas,aromatic amino acid cracking products,neophytadiene,neutral aroma compounds,petroleum ether extract from cultural mycelium and solanone contents of high-order position of upper leaves which were picked with two times are high than that of low-order position of upper leaves5.67%,8.30%,9.51%,9.75%,11.5%,16.0%,12.9% & 6.77% in turn;and so did the total mean amount of the upper leaves picking with two times are high than that of picking with one time 7.22%,7.41%,9.97%,7.45%,10.1%,9.18%,3.62% & 8.07% in turn too.The preliminary results showed that in the mountainous tobacco planting areas,the upper part of flue-cured tobacco leaves picking & baking with two times,which was beneficial to improve the aroma content and tobacco quality of the upper part of flue-cured tobacco leaves.To summarize,adopted the adjusted new moderate temperature/moderate humidity curing technology,the treatment with two times collection is in favor of increasing the upper tobacco leaves quality in Longhui mountain tobacco planting areas.
