Slicing is an emerging gear processing technology that can high-efficiently cut high-precision gears.The systematic design of the slice cutter structure is one of the key elements to promote the engineering application of slicing technology.At present,the design theory of slice cutter mainly focuses on the cutting-edge profile,the front angle and the flank face angle,without studies about slice cutter structure design methods.Causing some problems in the process of slice cutter designing,manufacturing and gear manufacturing,such as,the difficulty of grinding the cutter,the interference of the flank face face,and the interference of the root circle.etc.Aiming at the above problems,based on the method of slicing and surface fitting,article studying the design method of slice cutter structure by the analysis of surface characteristics and the discrimination of cutter interference.In addition,the cutting simulation model is established with reference to NC machining simulation technology,and the feasibility of the design method is verified by this method.In this paper,the surface characteristics of the cutting-edge cluster fitting are analyzed according to the surface fitting method,and they are classified according to the characteristics of the cutting-edge cluster.Based on the cutting vector variation law of the cutting-edge cluster fitting surface,the topological point cloud of the cutter tooth is solved,and the point cloud is fitted and analyzed,and a reasonable tooth model is constructed.Secondly,studying the slicing processing method,and the cutter body structure is designed according to the machining movement mode and the cutter clamping method.Then,the tool structure design parameters are classified based on this.In order to solve the problem of repetitiveness and complexity in the modeling process of slice cutter,a parametric modeling method about it was proposed,and the operation interface was initially constructed.Finally,studying the relationship between gear parameters and gear detection method,and the gear model established by parameter matching method.The cutting simulation model is established by VERICUT cutting simulation software,including machine cutting model,cutter model and NC program writing,etc.,and put the gear model into it.By observing the cutting process and the simulation results,the correctness of the cutting simulation model and the feasibility of the cutter structure design method are further verified.At the same time,after the simulation test is passed,the actual slicing is carried out.Then,observing the shape of the cutter after machining,and detecting the workpiece.The feasibility of the cutter structure design method and the correctness of the simulation model are strengthened by comparing the actual effects.The design method of the slice cutter proposed in this paper solves the problems of grinding difficulty and interference etc.in the design,manufacture and slicing,fills in the gap in the design of the caries structure,and improves the design system of the slice cutter.According to this method,the cutter parametric modeling interaction interface is established,which simplifies the modeling process.At the same time,the cutting simulation model was established to verify the above method.
