Research On The Production Management Of Xishan Coal Mine(1949-1955)

At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China,my country's weak economic foundation,lack of industrial funds,and international environmental dangers have highlighted the urgency of developing heavy industry.In October 1949,my country established the Central Fuel Industry Department to strengthen the unified management of coal production and construction.In this environment,Xishan Coal Mine began to recover and rebuild.Xishan Coal Mine was established in 1934 and is an important coal enterprise in Shanxi.After the founding of New China,the enterprise nature of Xishan Coal Mine became a local state-owned enterprise,and it was gradually restored and reconstructed.From 1949 to1955,Xishan Coal Mine continued to adjust its management and production.In terms of management,the democratic reform carried out by Xishan Coal Mine has achieved the goal of miners' participation in management.At the same time,Xishan Coal Mine has made major adjustments to its internal organizational structure,function deployment,employee management,and safety management,which has changed the embarrassing situation of exploiting workers,neglecting production safety,and feudal internal management.In terms of production,coal output has increased year by year.Xishan Coal Mine is the mainstay of coal industry development in Taiyuan,and its output is in a leading position in Shanxi's coal industry.Xishan Coal Mine is rich in resources,relying on a long history of development,rich coal resources and its own practical innovations,it became the most influential local state-owned coal mine in Shanxi at that time.Of course,the development of Xishan Coal Mine is not perfect.In terms of management,problems such as bloated leadership and poor management are more prominent.In terms of production,the maladies such as unbalanced mining,poor quality of employees,and unreasonable labor allocation have run through.This makes it difficult for Xishan Coal Mine to achieve its full potential.It is not only helpful to explore the overall development trajectory of Xishan Coal Mine in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,but also has lessons for studying the historical changes of Shanxi Coal Industry through the crawling and combing of the contents of the management and production of Xishan Coal Mine.
