The use of water-based ink has many advantages.First of all,it will not cause pollution to the environment,and the personal safety of the operator will not be affected.In addition,the phenomenon of residual solvents does not exist,simple and easy to clean,research and development of water-based ink has become a major trend.However,the existing water-based screen printing ink has the defects of poor dryness,wear resistance,adhesion and gloss.A water-based screen printing ink with excellent comprehensive performance and low cost has been developed to solve the problems of low gloss and poor wear resistance of water-based screen printing ink.Based on the principle of printability,the influence of the content change of different components on the performance of ink was tested by single factor optimization test method,and the optimal dosage range of each component was optimized.Then according to the orthogonal experimental method,the viscosity,wear resistance,gloss,drying speed,adhesion and anti adhesion of the ink were tested,and the optimal formula of water-based screen printing ink was obtained by analyzing the results.The performances of water-based screen printing ink were tested by wear-resistant tester and Digital Viscometer,and the data were recorded.The optimal dosage of each component was determined as follows:styrene acrylic resin 27%,slow drying agent ethylene glycol 5%,modified resin cellulose acetate butyrate 0.75%,defoamer 1.0%,polyethylene wax 6%,ammonia 11%,associated thickener 0.8%,deionized water 38.25%,pigment 10%,and the mass percentage of the above components was 100%.The prepared water-based screen printing ink meets the viscosity requirements of screen printing industry.The gloss,adhesion,anti adhesion and wear resistance of the obtained water-based screen printing ink were improved by further optimization of the experimental scheme.It has excellent adhesion performance on paper water oil surface,PET and PVC film,and provides good gloss,so the prepared water-based screen printing ink can be used for greeting cards,signs,color box printing and packaging products.
