With the popularity of natural gas,the application of natural gas technology in industrial heating is also becoming mature,Under the background of the national goal of "Carbon neutralization at carbon peak" gas boilers have good heating effects in cold regions.The advantages of relatively small footprint,and low engineering construction difficulty have been favored by more and more people.In the study,the boiler coal conversion project of Wujinwan Hulonggou Coal Industry Co.,Ltd.was taken as an actual case,in which the company’s newly built two 6-ton natural gas steam boilers(standby each other)replaced the original three6-ton(dual use and one backup)coal-fired steam boilers retrofit scheme of system,respectively from the materials and methods,technical route,flue gas emission monitoring data,standards specification compliance,environmental impact,and social benefits,etc.this paper disscusses the equipment selection of coal-fired boilers to gas-fired boilers,transformation advantages and practical difficulties of replacing are discussed in terms of efficiency,etc.and the results are as follows:(1)The heat load of the boiler coal-to-gas project,technical plan parameters,renovation project volume,project investment budget,pollutant emissions,etc.were calculated in detail,indicating that the benefits of coal-to-gas conversion to the overall environment outweigh the disadvantages and reduce.The equipment operation and labor costs in the later period have been improved,and it has brought better environmental,social and economic benefits,and has greater feasibility.(2)Monitored and counted the emissions of related pollution factors such as waste gas,waste water,noise,solid waste,etc.produced by coal-fired boilers and gas-fired boilers before and after the project transformation,and compared and analysed the pollutant emissions data before and after the transformation.After transforming two 6-steam-ton coal-fired boilers into two 6-steam-ton gas-fired boilers,the annual emission reduction of smoke and dust is 0.721 tons,which is a reduction of 84.6% compared to the original emission reduction;the annual reduction of sulfur dioxide is 2.198 steam tons.The emission reduction is84.1% compared to the original;the annual emission reduction of nitrogen oxides is 3.148 steam tons,which is a reduction of 80.2%compared with the original emission reduction;the annual emission reduction of solid waste,namely slag,is 0.07 million tons.The natural gas used in the gas boiler is provided by the gas company.The mine no longer uses coal for heating,so no slag is produced,which reduces 100%emissions compared to before the renovation.The above results show that after the implementation of the boiler coal-to-gas project,the emissions of various pollutants such as sulfur dioxide,nitrogen oxides,and solid waste have been greatly reduced,and it can meet the current air pollutant emission standards in Shanxi Province,which can bring good environmental benefits.Under the severe situation of carbon emission reduction tasks and people’s increasing requirements for environmental quality,coal-using companies must shoulder the major social responsibility of emission reduction,adopt a variety of ways to reduce pollution and carbon,and make it a basic model for future high-quality development. |
