In the hot stamping process,the conditions of high temperature and high load complicate the friction and wear between steel sheets and tools,and the friction and wear behavior in the forming process has a direct impact on the quality of the formed parts and the service life of tools.In this paper,high temperature friction and wear tests were carried out on alloyed galvanized(GA),galvanized boron steel(GI)and Al-Si coated boron steel and H13 hot-working tool steel.The effects of temperature and load on the friction and wear properties of three coated boron steel B1500 HS during hot stamping were studied from the aspects of friction coefficient,wear rate and wear morphologies.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1)The average parameters of the solid surface characterization and the surface contact between the friction pairs,and the structure distribution of the friction surface layer were analyzed.The friction characteristics and related theories of solid surface were analyzed: mechanical meshing theory,molecular interaction theory,and adhesive friction theory.The abrasive wear,adhesive wear,corrosion wear and surface fatigue wear in the high temperature friction process were analyzed;In the end,the three processes that solid materials need to go through in the friction and wear process were introduced,and the quantitative theory of wear were introduced:delamination wear theory,energy wear theory,fatigue wear theory and adhesive wear theory.2)A series of high-temperature friction and wear test were carried out on GA coated boron steel,GI coated boron steel,Al-Si coated boron steel and H13hot-working tool steel friction pair by setting temperature control group,load control group and material control group.The influence of temperature and load on the friction coefficients of three coated boron steel friction pairs was analyzed;the average friction coefficients of the three coated boron steel friction pairs were calculated and compared.3)By means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and energy dispersing spectrometer(EDS),the surface morphologies and composition on the wear surface of three coated boron steel sheets and H13 steel pins were analyzed.The wear mechanisms of three coated boron steel sheets and H13 steel pins under different temperatures and loads were discussed.The wear rates of three coated boron steel sheets and H13 steel pins under different temperature and load were measured,and the law of wear rate changes with temperature and load were discussed.In the end,high-temperature friction and wear properties of three coated boron steel and H13 steel friction pairs were compared.
