With the development and utilization of marine oil and gas resources,higher safety and environment protection requirements have been put forward for the design of high-power reciprocating compressors.While guaranteeing their functionality,the noise problem of compressors has become an important research topic.In this paper,the high-power reciprocating compressors were chosen as the research object to systematically study the noise analysis and testing methods.Firstly,the noise theory and analysis methods of compressor were studied with deducing the acoustic wave equation,and the noise analysis method suitable for high-power reciprocating compressor was determined by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of differe nt calculation methods.On the basis of the above,the finite element theory was combined with the boundary element theory to complete the simulation calculation of radiated sound field of high-power reciprocating compressor,and acoustics pressure cloud and significant frequency band of noise were obtained.Secondly,the compressor of Tayu turbocharging station was taken as the test object,and a reasonable and feasible test scheme was formulated by referring to the relevant standards.The noise characteristics and prominent positions were studied according to the results of the test,and the reliability of the analysis method was verified by comparing with the theoretica l analysis results.At the same time,considering the shortcomings of A weighted sound level in noise evaluation,the loudness of each measuring point and the impact of compressor noise were calculated and evaluated based Zwicker loudness theory.Then,the theoretical analysis method was applied to the noise prediction of marine highpower reciprocating compressor,and the radiated sound field was calculated by established the analysis model and determining the boundary conditions.The results of 1/3 octave frequency analysis showed that the noise of marine compressor has obvious low frequency characterist ics and the sound pressure cloud showed that the noise at the cylinder of marine compressor is more significant,and the sound pressure level below is higher due to the reflection of deck.The noise characteristics and the location of main noise sources of compressor could be obtained at the design stage by the process of noise prediction,which provides reference for noise reduction design of compressor.Finally,the generating mechanism and characteristics of cylinder noise,mechanical noise and motor noise of high-power reciprocating compressor were systematically analyzed.Combined with the operation parameters and test results,the contribution of noise sources in each part of compressor to the total sound pressure level were determined by spectrum analys is method,and the pertinent noise reduction methods were proposed.
