In the process of drilling,the disposal of a large number of waste drilling fluids has gradually become an important factor restricting drilling cost.According to statistics,up to9.8×10~5 tons of waste drilling fluid are produced annually in oil and gas fields in China.The main components of waste drilling fluids are inorganic salts,heavy metal ions,oil,cuttings and organic treatment agents with different degrees of toxicity and difficult to degrade naturally.Conventional treatment methods such as direct discharge method,in-situ burial method,solidification treatment method and solid-liquid separation method can not realize the recycling of waste drilling fluid,but also cause environmental pollution.Therefore,it is very important to study a waste drilling fluid treatment technology with low cost,low pollution and high recycling efficiency for the development of petroleum industry.How to effectively maintain the relative stability of drilling fluid properties in the process of waste drilling fluid treatment is the key to achieve drilling fluid recycling.Based on the pilot experiment of ultrasonic gel breaking and the special action law of ultrasonic gel breaking,a new method of ultrasonic assisted drilling fluid gel breaking is proposed in this paper.By adjusting the parameters such as frequency and time of ultrasonic action,the effect of ultrasonic treatment on the separation efficiency of micro-nano solid particles in drilling fluid colloids was clarified.The solid phase morphology and mineral composition of drilling fluid after ultrasonic treatment were analyzed by various analytical and testing methods,and its mechanism was clarified.The drilling fluid after ultrasonic treatment is reconfigured,and the performance parameters of reconfigured drilling fluid are analyzed and tested to meet the requirements of recovery and reuse.The results show that ultrasonic-assisted gel breaking treatment can effectively improve the separation efficiency of micro-nano solid particles in drilling fluid colloids.The separation rate of solid particles increases by more than 30%after ultrasonic treatment,and it will not adversely affect the physical and chemical properties and comprehensive properties of drilling fluid.The research results in this paper show that the deep separation technology of drilling fluid based on Ultrasonic-assisted gel breaking method has good potential and application prospects in waste drilling fluid treatment.It also provides theoretical basis and technical support for waste drilling fluid recovery and reuse,and plays a forward-looking role.
