Research On The Application Of Qing Dynasty Wanxiu Pattern In Ready-to-wear Design

Wanxiu is the most commonly used decoration on women's clothing in the Qing Dynasty.It began in the Qianlong period and became popular until the end of the Qing Dynasty.It is also called "outdoor sleeves".Wanxiu is a product of the fusion of Manchu and Han cultures in the Qing Dynasty.Most of its producers are boudoir women.The core of Wanxiu's research in the Qing Dynasty is to understand its connotation and analyze its artistic characteristics through rich patterns.In order to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the research content,based on the literature research,this article conducts a physical inspection of the Wanxiu collection displayed in the Hangzhou Museum of Arts and Crafts and the Wuhan Museum.At the same time,it combines the pictures of Wanxiu in the Qing Dynasty from private private collections.The research,specifically for the application of Qing Dynasty Wanxiu pattern in the design of Ready-to-wear,is mainly divided into the following three parts:The first part makes a detailed review of the origin and development of Wanxiu in the Qing Dynasty,and through the restoration of Wanxiu's structure in the Qing Dynasty,summarizes the Wanxiu sleeve structure and decoration craftsmanship,and understands the cultural connotation of Wanxiu.The second part summarizes the artistic characteristics of the Qing Dynasty Wanxiu pattern,including its theme,composition,color matching,and production process,which laid a solid theoretical foundation for the subsequent design.The third part combines the characteristics of Ready-to-wear and analyzes the application of Qing Dynasty Wanxiu patterns in the design of Ready-to-wear in the through domestic and foreign application case analysis,design application preliminary exploration and feasibility analysis.Finally,the design practice is combined with the previous research results,while retaining the characteristics of the Wanxiu pattern of the Qing Dynasty,it is combined with Ready-to-wear for innovative design,hoping to provide a reference for subsequent related research.According to the research on the Qing Dynasty Wanxiu pattern,the following conclusions are drawn: The Wanxiu pattern of the Qing Dynasty is the product of the boudoir show under ethical education.It has a wide range of topics,mainly relaxing and pleasant themes;the composition forms are changeable,the most classic composition The form is to show the top-down spatial composition form in the long strip of the picture;the color matching conforms to the law of the traditional Chinese "five-color view",the craftsmanship is exquisite and delicate,reflecting the budding of women's independence consciousness in the Qing Dynasty,and it shows that although the costume culture has undergone dynasty changes,it has the same characteristics.
