The metasurface is a planar array composed of periodically arranged resonant sub-wavelength elements with high electromagnetic characteristics and less structural loss.With its excellent characteristics and broad application prospects,metasurface has arouse the research boom in academia and industry.This paper mainly studies the optical characteristics of metasurface in the visible band.After analyzing the related theory and simulation algorithm of metasurface,the differences in the simulation of the V-antenna metasurface through different softwares are compared,and the reliability of the simulation is verified by comparing with the experimental results.For V-antenna metasurface,through optimization and comparison of the multi-layer structure,we achieve controllable adjustment of the color filter.For truncated cone metasurface,we obtain higher efficiency and sharp peak effect,thereby obtain better color purity.A square-groove metasurface is proposed,with high efficiency and extremely narrow bandwidth,and realizes the function of dynamically adjusting the resonant peak.And it can be applied to spectrum detection and spectrum an examination.The simulation software of Comsol,CST,FDTD are used to simulate the V-antenna metasurface.After comparing simulation results of the three software,it’s found that results are roughly the same,with some small differences.It shows that numerical discrete methods and meshing methods of different software are the main reasons for the differences.The reliability of software simulation is further verified by comparison with experimental results.Single-layer,double-layer and three-layer V-antenna metasurfaces are constructed,and the performance of cross-polarization reflectance gradually improves,with more flexible adjustment freedom.Based on the three-layer structure,a dynamically adjustable color filter is realized and generates three primary color curve.The simulation results show that the color gamut area accounts for 72.6% of the NTSC color gamut area.The performance of the color filter composed of the truncated cone metasurface is studied.Through the optimization of the structure size,the three primary color curve gets a more efficient result,with a feature of the sharp peak effect of the reflectance curve.A square-groove metasurface is designed with high efficiency and extremely narrow bandwidth.Through the optimization of the metasurface structure,the optimal reflectance result is obtained whose width is within 2nm,and the function of dynamically adjusting the resonance peak is realized.The square groove metasurface has broad application prospects and can provide better design ideas for the fields of spectral detection and spectral inspection.
