In the continuous extrusion press,the base as the foundation of the equipment,mainly plays the role of support and connection.The traditional continuous extrusion machine base is a plate welding part,its deflection and stiffness performance is far greater than the requirements of the equipment,resulting in the base weight and high cost.In addition,the base also has the disadvantages of large number of steel plates,too many welding joints,complex structure,not simple and beautiful.Truss is common in mechanical structure and building structure.Truss structure has the characteristics of light weight,large span,less steel consumption,simple stress system and convenient connection,which greatly meets the requirements of the research topic.Therefore,the truss structure and mechanical lightweight are combined to design a new type of truss base structure to meet the requirements of lightweight.In the process of research,it is mainly divided into three parts.Firstly,the stress situation of the base under the two working conditions of equipment lifting and working is analyzed.Combined with the stress analysis of the base,the square steel tube is used to design the new truss structure base.Secondly,ANSYS finite element simulation is carried out to get the numerical information of stress distribution and node displacement under different working conditions.Secondly,the stress was measured by dynamic strain experiment,the experimental stress results were compared with the simulated stress results,and the reliability of the simulation results was verified by experiments.Then,the deflection,stiffness and material saving rate were calculated by the simulation data,and the comparative analysis was carried out.Finally,the shortcomings of the new truss structure base are optimized.In order to increase the structural stability and reduce the deformation,diagonal web members are added at the position with large deformation of the truss base,and then the deflection,stiffness and material saving rate are calculated by simulation for comparative analysis.In short,this study is to lightweight as the goal,combined with the characteristics of truss structure to design a new type of truss structure base,through ANSYS simulation results to optimize the parameters,improve the base structure.Finally,the goal of reducing weight and cost is achieved,and a new type of truss structure base with excellent performance is obtained.
