In recent years,Klingelnberg Cycloid Bevel gear has been widely used in China's industry.Klingelnberg Cycloid Bevel gear has obvious advantages over other gears in structure,transmission performance and bearing capacity.For the Cycloid Bevel Gear Technology,the domestic manufacturing technology started late and has not been mastered yet.Analyzing the processing principle and computer simulation principle of Cycloid Bevel gear has important theoretical value and practical significance for improving its design theory and promoting its application in engineering.In this paper,the mathematical modeling and computer simulation of the tooth surface of Klingelnberg Cycloid Bevel gear are carried out.The geometric characteristics,meshing process and parameter calculation of Cycloid Bevel gear are very complex.In this paper,the forming principle of tooth surface in the process of cutting tooth is analyzed by studying its machining principle;Starting from the meshing principle of gears,this paper introduces the theory of curved surface and the related mathematical theory and tools needed;according to the relative position and motion relationship of cutter head,wheel blank and machine tool in the actual machining process of Cycloid Bevel gear,the meshing coordinate system is established,and the tooth surface equation of the gear is derived;according to the meshing principle of gear cutting,the gear is finally obtained by enveloping,The tooth surface equation of the processed gear is derived;the discrete point data of the tooth surface is calculated and the mathematical model of the tooth surface is drawn according to the calculated parameters and the derived tooth surface equation.According to the cutting principle of spiral bevel gear,the secondary development of Solid Works software is carried out,and the machining process of Cycloid Bevel gear is simulated.According to the relationship between relative position and relative motion in the actual machining of machine tool,a three-dimensional model of cutter and wheel blank is established.The continuous machining process of Cycloid Bevel gear is divided into many cutting periods.In each period,a Boolean subtraction operation is carried out on the wheel blank and the cutter head entity.Through the continuous operation between entities,a tooth slot will be formed on the wheel blank of Cycloid Bevel gear,Thus,the computer can be used to finish the machining of spiral bevel gear and adjust the machining parameters to provide the basis for the actual cutting adjustment.In this paper,the machiningprocess of Cycloid Bevel gear is simulated.Before the actual machining,the tool path is calculated by computer software,and the gear is machined.It can check and optimize the cutting parameters and NC machining program,reduce the number of trial cutting in the actual machining,and has certain guiding significance for the actual production and machining.
