At present,automobiles not only have higher requirements for appearance and quality performance,but also pay more attention to energy saving and emission reduction,weight reduction and consumption reduction,so as to conform to the strategic policy of the country's green and environmental protection development,therefore,the proportion of non-metallic parts in automobile parts has become larger and larger.Injection part is the most widely used part in the non-metal parts,so "plastic instead of steel" has become the trend of the automobile industry,injection part production technology has gradually become one of the key technologies affecting the lightweight of automobiles.The Automobile Fender Pedal Guard is one of the representatives of the automobile key parts,which normally uses the ordinary injection molding technology to produce,this research uses the chemical foaming injection molding technology,when the product manufactures the mold,using Moldflow to carry on the CAE simulation analysis to the automobile fender pedal,to verify the rationality of the product mold design and the process design,and to simulate the product injection process parameters,as the theoretical basis for the actual production of the product;Then Hyperworks is used to simulate the loading state of the automobile fender pedal,and analyze its stress state,it is confirmed that the Mechanical Properties of the fender pedal made by chemical foaming injection molding are in accordance with the technical performance standards issued by the main engine factory.By using the chemical foaming injection molding process to produce the automobile fender pedal,the products whose appearance and size meet the requirements of the main engine factory are obtained,and the products are weighed and compared with the weight of the products produced by the original ordinary injection molding process,the results showed that the weight was reduced by12.52%,and the sample strip of the automobile fender pedal made by the chemical foaming process was taken under the guidance of the National Standard and the host machine factory standard,the mechanical properties,liquid resistance,normal temperature impact property,low temperature impact property and cold-hot alternate property of the product were tested.Therefore,the results of this study prove the feasibility of using chemical foaming injection molding technology to produce automobile fender pedal to realize the product lightweight.This topic combines the product to carry on the research to the frontier production technology of the injection molding industry,finally uses the experiment to prove the analysis method and the chemical foaming technology feasibility,the technology scheme and the goal of lightweight are realized,which provides the experience for the research and development of the injection molding industry,and provides the method basis for the follow-up scientific research of automobile lightweight.
