3004 aluminum alloy is an AL-Mn alloy.It is the most widely used rust-proof aluminum alloy.It has medium strength,good deep-drawing forming properties and corrosion resistance.It is widely used in capacitor casings and kitchen utensils,pressure vessels and other fields.In this paper,through the as-cast microstructure observation,tensile test,cup test and other analytical testing methods,combined with on-site production,the 3004 aluminum alloy production and heat treatment process was determined.This topic explores the process production route applicable to deep-drawn sheet strips and realizes large-scale production of enterprises.Research indicates:(1)The 3004 alloy ingot is gradually increased in size from the surface layer to the center.There are different degrees of microsegregation of alloying elements in the cross section of the ingot.The distribution of elements in the surface layer of the ingot is relatively uniform,and there is obvious intragranular segregation in the middle of the ingot.The 3004 alloy ingot must be homogenized for further processing.(2)Homogenization treatment causes obvious changes in the as-cast microstructure of the ingot,unbalanced eutectic dissolution,supersaturated solid solution decomposition and dendrite segregation elimination.In the parameters used in this study,it is beneficial to improve the homogenization temperature and prolong the holding time.Homogenize the effect.(3)With the increase of homogenization temperature and time,intragranular segregation decreases and microhardness tends to be the same.When the homogenization temperature is less than 590?,the precipitated phases in grain and grain boundary center are less;when the homogenization temperature is more than 600?,the distribution of precipitated phases in ingots is more uniform and the density of precipitated phases decreases.According to the actual production situation of the factory,the suitable homogenization system for 3004 aluminium alloy used in capacitors is heating temperature 600? and holding time 8-12 H..(4)In the constant-time annealing test,the finished sheet exhibits different mechanical properties and forming properties.When the annealing temperature is 340? and the holding time is 2 hours,the tensile strength,yield strength,elongation after break,and ear production rate of the 3004 aluminum alloy plate for capacitors are all satisfied with Q/SMBD 005-2016 capacitor Housing The specification of aluminum and aluminum alloy strips,and at this time the sheet exhibits an anisotropy minimum.(5)Under the constant temperature annealing condition of 300?,the tensile strength,yield strength and yield ratio of the capacitor with 3004 aluminum alloy plate gradually decrease with the increase of holding time,and the elongation after fracture gradually increases.Under constant temperature conditions,the prolongation of the holding time plays a decisive role in obtaining a very good isotropic annealed aluminum alloy sheet.(6)Combined with the actual production situation at the site and customer feedback,the suitable annealing system for capacitors with 3004 aluminum alloy is heating temperature 300?,holding time 5?6h.
