Joint fissures are widely present in the rock slopes of open-pit mines,which make the rock mass show the characteristics of discontinuity and anisotropy,which are the main controlling factors affecting the mechanical behavior of rock masses.Taking a slope in the Dumu mining area of Gongchangling Open-pit Mine as the research object,using the methods of on-site investigation,indoor experiment and discrete element analysis,the characteristics of jointed rock mass representation unit(REV)were analyzed,and on this basis,it passed,etc.The effective continuum method introduces the results of REV research into the stability evaluation of slope engineering.The main research contents are as follows:Through the method of on-site investigation and reference to relevant literature,the structural characteristics of the slope rock mass and the distribution of structural planes in the Dumu mining area are statistically analyzed,and the quality of the rock mass in this area is evaluated by the SMR method.On the basis of the rock mechanics experiment,the C60 concrete is used to prepare two sets of through joint sample models and the rock-like samples are subjected to uniaxial loading experiments by a servo press to analyze the strength and deformation of the jointed rock mass model by the inclination angle of the joint groups.Characteristic influence.Combined with the acoustic emission test system,the mechanical characteristics of the sample and the evolution process of acoustic emission during the loading process are studied and the failure modes of the sample under the influence of the inclination angle of different joint groups are obtained.The PFC2 D program was used to establish a numerical model.Based on the meso-mechanical parameters of the calibration model of the rock-like uniaxial loading test,a numerical sample containing two sets of through joints was established.The micro-crack evolution process and the characteristics of the displacement vector field in the failure process of the specimen are analyzed by numerical experiment simulation.The results are compared with those obtained from the rock-like uniaxial loading test and the failure mode is basically the same.Through the SRM method(synthetic rock mass),combined with the on-site structural surface survey and numerical experiment results,the discrete element joint network DFN model is established with the PFC2 D program and the size effect of the deformation parameters and strength parameters of the jointed rock mass is studied.The equivalent rock mass uniaxial compression test shows that as the model size increases,the peak strength and deformation modulus,of the sample decrease.When the side length of the numerical model increases to 8 meters,they tend to be constant.The size and mechanical parameters of the rock mass REV of the research object.Through the method of model rotation,the anisotropy of the sample is not obvious.The REV scale and mechanical parameters are introduced into a jointed slope in Gongchangling Dumu mining area,and the stability of the slope in the process of extension mining without extension is analyzed by the safety factor method and the potential failure of the slope is discussed.The stable form verifies the feasibility of applying REV research results to engineering.
