Looking for and developing the remaining oil is very important to the national petroleum energy strategy.Most oil fields in China have entered the stage of high-water-cut development,and problems such as large inter-layer conflicts and difficulty in identifying remaining oil distribution become more and more prominent.Water flooding and monitoring of remaining oil are among the most urgent problems to be solved in oil field development,and each oil field has a great demand for accurate testing of remaining oil.Traditional residual oil testing technology is difficult to accurately carry out quantitative evaluation of residual oil due to its low instrument accuracy and poor adaptability to interpretation methods.It cannot meet the development needs of medium and low porosity and permeability oil fields and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs in China.Therefore,the market is in urgent need of residual oil testing technology to meet the development needs of various oil fields.With the progress of logging technology at home and abroad,as well as the improvement of instrument research and development level,according to the geological characteristics of domestic oil reservoirs,it is very feasible to study the high-temperature resistant and high-precision "new pulsed neutron element spectrum analysis residual oil monitoring technology" to meet the needs of oil fields.The element monitoring and carbon than oxygen saturation test combined two methods,to develop advanced technology,collection and processing admission system and the analysis method of remaining oil on the ground,complete equipment manufacture and the field test,can solve the instrument accuracy is poor,poor heat resistance is low,the interpretation coincidence rate,difficult to meet the domestic middle and low permeability oilfield and unconventional reservoirs development demand of industry technical problems.The "element spectrum analysis + element" pulsed neutron element spectrum analysis method studied in this paper has significantly improved the accuracy and accuracy of residual oil test.Good results have been obtained by field application.The pulsed neutron element spectrum analysis residual oil testing system is of great significance to greatly improve the residual oil testing level of medium and low porosity and high porosity and high permeability reservoirs and assist the exploration and development process of oil fields.Aiming at the characteristics of "low porosity and low permeability" reservoirs in China,this paper adopts the methods of "element spectrum analysis + element spectrum analysis" to accurately understand the intra-layer heterogeneity and accurately identify the remaining oil and water flooded degree of reservoirs.It provides an important basis for reservoir dynamic analysis,plays an important role in oil well measures,and has great economic and social benefits.The "pulsed neutron element spectrum analysis residual oil test system" completed by the research has significantly improved the technical level of residual oil test in the oil field,and met the urgent need of residual oil monitoring in the oil field exploration and development.After the instrument was put into production,it was widely recognized by all oil production plants and has a broad prospect of popularization and application.
