With the rapid development of China’s economy,electrical equipment is widely used in modern industry.The stable and reliable operation of electrical contact parts has a vital impact on the service life of the equipment.Therefore,the lubrication and protection treatment of electrical contact area has become the top priority of equipment maintenance.These key parts require that the grease not only has good anti-wear and friction ability,but also needs better electrical conductivity or wear resistance Insulation performance.In this paper,the properties of grease under current carrying and non current carrying conditions were studied based on the lubrication and conductivity of grease:(1)Silicon based grease was prepared by using nano-Fe3O4,TiO2 and SiO2 as additives,dimethyl silicone oil as base oil and polytetrafluoroethylene as thickener.The conductive lubrication ability of the grease under current carrying and non current carrying conditions was investigated.The experimental results show that:the volume resistivity of grease is improved by adding three kinds of nano oxides;under the condition of non current carrying,the three kinds of nano oxides show the best friction reducing and anti-wear performance when the mass fraction is 1%;under the condition of current carrying,they also have good friction reducing and anti-wear performance,and 1%TiO2 grease has the best tribological performance.(2)Using ionic liquid([EMIm][PF6],[HMIm][PF6]and[C14MIm][PF6])as modifiers,nano oxides were successfully modified by mechanical grinding method,which not only reduced the volume resistivity of grease,but also further improved the tribological properties of grease The tribological properties are unified with current carrying tribological properties and electrical conductivity.The analysis shows that the good tribological properties of grease mainly depend on the synergistic effect of nanoparticles and ionic liquid polarity.(3)Through ANSYS finite element analysis software,the thermal structure coupling calculation of the micro temperature change of the friction surface is carried out.It is found that the surface temperature of the material increases rapidly,the temperature of the center of the wear mark is the highest,and it diffuses around in a wavy shape.The grease plays the role of heat absorption and heat dissipation while undertaking the task of reducing friction and anti-wear.
