Study On The Application Of Cotton Fiber Material In Home Screen Design

As a natural fiber material,cotton has large output and good flexibility.It is processed into cotton thread after removing seeds.It has the advantages of touch,vision,processing and so on.It is often used in household products.However,the application of cotton thread materials in home screen products has not fully played its advantages,and the processing technique and performance effect are relatively single.Based on the material of cotton thread,this paper summarizes the physical characteristics,artistic forms and processing methods of cotton thread,develops a series of home screen design,and provides practical reference and theoretical research materials for the application of cotton thread in screen design.Firstly,this paper studies and analyzes the screen products,sorts out and classifies the shape,structure,function,material and form of expression of the screen,and makes a case study of the home screen products in the market,so as to provide a reasonable reference for the application of cotton thread materials in home screen design,and explore the feasibility of the application of cotton thread in home screen.Secondly,according to the physical characteristics of cotton thread,explore the influence of the number,density,moisture regain,strength of cotton thread on the visual effect.The larger the number of cotton thread,the more delicate and advanced the appearance and touch.The smaller the number of cotton thread,the heavier and more simple the cotton thread.The direction and size of twist also affect the appearance and hardness of cotton yarn.In addition,the cotton thread itself is flexible,suitable for flat type expression,and can be spread to form a picture or as a decoration of screen core or screen frame.By exploring the expression and processing technology of cotton thread in the home screen,from the aspects of modeling,color and decoration,through the methods of arrangement,knitting,embroidery,crochet,dyeing,and combining with other materials,this paper discusses the modeling form and performance effect of cotton thread in the home screen design.Finally,according to the research results,the design practice is carried out,and the exploration method is applied to the specific scheme to design the screen products such as "surplus·deficiency" series,"simple·geometry","Hunan·landscape" series,"streamer".The research results of this topic can enrich the selection of product materials,better meet the market demand,and also provide materials and reference cases for the theoretical research and design practice of cotton thread materials in product design.
