| NTO,the full name is 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one(3-nitro-1,2,4-tri-azol-5-one),has good detonation performance and Safety.NTO has a broader application value than ordinary explosives from the perspective of the development of high-energy insensitive explosives.But there is a factor that limits its application value,that is,the acidic problem caused by the stru-cture of NTO itself.Therefore,this article carried out a series of studies on NTO acid inhibition and protection.The main research contents are:(1)Using the solvent volatilization method and the idea of orthogonal experiment design,multiple sets of NTO/HMX and NTO/CL-20 cocrystal explosives were prepared.And through the observation of the morphology of the experimental samples,X-ray powder diffraction and DSC experimental results analysis,the formation of NTO/HMX and NTO/CL-20 cocrystal was proved.(2)Design an acid analysis experiment to compare the inhibitory effect of each group of NTO/HMX and NTO/CL-20 cocrystals on the acidity of elemental NTO.For the NTO/HMX cocrystal,the sample prepared under the experimental conditions with DMF as solvent,NTO and HMX ratio of 1:1.5,and temperature of 40℃ has the best inhibitory effect on the acidity of elemental NTO;for the NTO/CL-20 cocrystal,the sample prepared under the experimental conditions with anhydrous methanol as the solvent,NTO and CL-20 ratio of 1:1.5,and temperature of 30℃ has the best inhibitory effect on the acidity of elemental NTO.(3)The detonation performance of NTO-based cocrystal explosive was predicted by theoretical calculation method.The results showed that the detonation velocity of the NTO/HMX cocrystal explosive was 8979 m/s and the detonation pressure was 39.1 GPa;the detonation velocity of the NTO/CL-20 cocrystal explosive was 9054 m/s and the detonation pressure was 41.4 GPa.The detonation velocity and detonation pressure of both are higher than that of NTO(8560 m/s,35.8 GPa),indicating that the two co-crystals not only have a significant inhibitory effect on the acidity of the elemental NTO,but also can improve the detonation performance of the NTO.(4)Through a self-made experimental device,the NTO acid solution infiltration method was used to explore the acid protection of asphalt varnish and silicone rubber to NTO.The results showed that the acidic substance in the saturated solution of NTO cannot penetrate through the two materials indicating that asphalt varnish and silicone rubber can be used as coating materials to protect the acidity of NTO in warhead charges. |
