At present,the vertical root connection work needs workers to assist the drill pipe power tongs,which is not only low efficiency,high labor intensity,but also high risk factor.In order to solve this problem,combine workflow and usage environment,a set of automatic root connection system for land drill pipe is designed.Firstly,the existing vertical root connection system at home and abroad is analyzed,four structural design schemes are developed,and the optimal scheme is determined.Then CAXA software is used to build a three-dimensional model of the mechanical structure,and each functional module is described in detail.Based on the statics,the finite element simulation model is established,and the static simulation is carried out by Workbench software.The conclusion that the mechanical structure strength meets the operating requirements is obtained by analyzing the simulation results.Finally,the hydraulic drive system and electrical control system are designed.S7-200 SMART PLC was selected as the main controller,and the control program was programmed with STEP 7-Micro/WIN SMART software,and the hydraulic system schematic diagram and electrical control schematic diagram were drawn.The research of this paper shows that the automatic vertical root connecting system of terrestrial drill pipe studied in this paper realizes the work of ground vertical root connecting,which provides a research foundation for the development of subsequent drill pipe treatment system.
