The scholar’s stationaries refers to auxiliary stationery that are developed on the basis of scholar’s four jewels(brush,ink,paper,and inkstone)and are closely related to them.It has national characteristics,artistic characteristics,cultural characteristics and aesthetic characteristics of picturesque.As one of the expressions of Chinese traditional culture,it is an important part of the history of arts and crafts and design art in China.This subject selects scholar’s stationaries as the research object,sorts out relevant expositions in ancient books,monographs,images and other documents,and combines the macro development of writing history and arts and crafts history to sort out the historical origin and development context of scholar’s stationaries.Based on historical data and cultural relic of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the inherent logical relationship between the art and decorative art of the study and economic,political,and cultural backgrounds is analyzed.From a design point of view,this paper makes a rational analysis and discussion on the decorative rules of scholar’s stationaries in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In order to explore one of the important carriers of oriental culture-the culture charm and aesthetic appeal of the classic play in the scholar’s stationaries,re-examine its unique research value and aesthetic heritage.The scholar’s stationaries as one of Chinese traditional study culture,embodies the holder’s social status,cultural literacy,religious belief,aesthetic tendency,living habits and economic strength,but also reflects their respective humanistic ideals and spiritual values.Never forget yourself,never forget nature and society,They are the "art of life" items with Chinese local color.This article studies the internal relationship between the art of decoration and the functionality and aesthetics of the scholar’s stationaries in the Ming and Qing dynasties through case analysis,summarizes the application status and application rules in modern cultural and creative products.Combining theory and practice,it opens up new ideas and directions for the development and improvement of elegant ability and experience,the appreciation and experience of the learned and accomplished worthies Chinese life in ancient China,and the inheritance and development of the special material culture of scholar’s stationaries.
