| Chinese traditional patterns are an important part of excellent traditional culture in China,as well as an important part of the Chinese cultural material library.We choose a representative traditional plant pattern which is scroll design as research object in this thesis,and divides it into three types according to its shape characteristics which are ’single type of scroll design’,’continuous type of scroll design’,and ’combined type of scroll design’,and generate these three types of patterns respectively.The main research contents are as follows:(1)For the ’single type of scroll design’,according to its structural characteristics,we release multiple particles with continuously changing charges in a fixed magnetic field,and their motion trajectories form curves of different lengths,directions and curvatures.The idea of ’area ID’ is used to ensure generate disjoint between pattern branches while maximizing the diversity of generated patterns.(2)Aiming at the ’continuous type of scroll design’,we can use a classic curve algorithm to fit these points that user-specified into a curve or use a trigonometric function to implement an ’S’ curve as the skeleton of continuous type of scroll design.Then,proxy circles of different sizes are grown on both sides of the curve,which are tangent to each other and also tangent to the curve.Finally,the leaf pattern is mapped to the corresponding proxy circle position by the radius-texture mapping relationship,so that the continuous type of scroll design generated is more authentic.(3)For the‘combined type of scroll design’,the position of the maximum distance is found by distance transformation on the pattern of the existing skeleton.The proxy circle keeps growing at this position until it intersects with existing elements or boundaries.Continue to grow the new proxy circle at the new position until the distance value below the set threshold.Finally,the main pattern such as flowers is mapped to the corresponding proxy circle position through the radius-texture mapping relationship,and the combined type of scroll design is completed.This thesis implements the generation algorithm based on the characteristics of the scroll pattern,which has a generalization and universality for the generation of Chinese traditional patterns,and provides a new method for the combination design of traditional patterns. |
