Wettability is an important feature of solid surface.In this paper,the micro-patterned rough structure of TiO2 film(5%of the doping amount of iron ion),ZrO2 and composite TiO2-ZrO2 films with ultra-wetting properties were fabricated by photosensitive sol-gel method.The hydrophilicity,antifogging property and photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films were investigated.The hydrophilicity,antifogging property of ZrO2 films and the hydrophobicity,thermal stability of ZrO2 films modified with 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctylsilane were studied.Finally the hydrophilicity before modification,hydrophobicity after modification and the effects of UV irradiation on the wettability of TiO2-ZrO2 composite films were researched.The specific contents and results were as follows:(1)Un-patterned and patterned TiO2 films were fabricated,the periods of pattern is 30 ?m,20 ?m,10 ?m,5 ?m and 2 ?m,respectively.The hydrophilicity,antifogging property and photocatalytic performance of the films were also analyzed.The results demonstrated that the hydrophilicity can be attributed to the instantaneous spreading of water droplets on processus mastoideus surfaces,and the smaller patterned period was,the stronger hydrophilicity obtained.The TiO2 film with a processus mastoideus period of 2 ?m represented a super-hydrophilicity,which lead the contact angle of water to drop to 3°in 3 s.Patterned films exhibited the antifogging properties,and the properties increased with the decreasing of the patterned period.The photodegradability enhanced by the increasing of hydrophilicity of patterned films,which was better than that of unpatterned films.And the photocatalytic degradation rate of 2 ?m processus mastoideus film was the fastest,which was 1.5 times faster than un-patterned film.(2)ZrO2 films with un-patterned,groove and processus mastoideus structure(period of 2?m)were prepared.And the effects of structure and surface chemical modification on the wettability of ZrO2 films were investigated.The results indicated that comparing with the un-patterned films,the patterned films showed better the hydrophilicity and the processus mastoideus structure exhibited the best.The wettability of the ZrO2 films can be transformed from hydrophilicity to hydrophobicity/superhydrophobicity by surface chemical modification with 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctanesilane.The ZrO2 films with processus mastoideus structure showed a superhydrophobicity with a contact angle of 155°,and the superhydrophobic films had good stability under UV irradiation and high temperature environment.(3)The TiO2-ZrO2 composite films were prepared by depositing TiO2 layer and ZrO2 layer successively on the Si substrate.And the wettability and water distribution characteristic of the composite films were studied.The results evidenced that the composite films without modification had hydrophilicity which increased with the decreasing of the patterned period,and the period of 1 ?m processus mastoideus structure of composite films represented superhydrophilicity.Furthermore,superhydrophobicity with contact angle of 162° can be acquired on composite films by fluorosilane-modified.Superhydrophilicity was represented on TiO2 area,and hydrophobicity was showed on ZrO2 area of TiO2-ZrO2 composite patterned film(4 mm interval between TiO2 and ZrO2 area)under UV irradiation.In general,the TiO2-ZrO2 composite films showed a good water distribution characteristic.
