China is the country with the largest smoking population in the world.Numerous studies have confirmed that smoking has a huge harm to human health.Cigarette smoke contains at least 69 carcinogens.Cigarette smoke contains 8% particulate matter and 92% other gas components. Therefore, the study of particulate matter and other products in cigarette smoke is of great significance to better understand the harm of cigarettes. This article quantifies for the first time the effective smoking of a harmful substance in mainstream smoke and the total exposure in sidestream smoke. The effects of different smoking frequencies, cigarettes of different brands at the same frequency, and the presence or absence of filters on mainstream smoke and sidestream smoke were studied.By measuring the amount, concentration, diameter,CO concentration,NOx concentration, and HC concentration of mainstream smoke and sidestream smoke particulate matter. At the same time, the amount of particulate matter deposited in the mouth and lungs was determined by manual experiments.SEM(scanning electron microscope)scanning electron microscope and other means to assist in the analysis of experimental results.Due to the randomness of the composition of a single cigarette, the density of tobacco leaves, the drop of soot during combustion, and the turbulence in the air, etc. In order to ensure the reliability of the experiment, this paper also conducted a strict error analysis. The results of the study show that as the interval increases, the total burning time of a single cigarette increases, but the effective smoking time of a single cigarette decreases. The interval time increases by 1S,and the total effective smoking time decreases by 3% ~ 5%.The amount of mainstream smoke particles in Taishan smoke(hybrid)suddenly increased at a certain moment, which is related to whether the soot sticking to the burning end drops and the density of cut tobacco. With the increase of the interval time, the moment of sudden sudden increase will also move backwards,at the same time, the effective number of particulates will also decrease, the fluctuation range of the diameter of the particulates will also expand, and the specific surface area will shrink. As the interval increases, the effective intake of CO,HC,and NOX in mainstream smoke will decrease, and exposure will increase.Temperature and air-fuel ratio are the main influencing factors. At the same time, the total exposure of sidestream smoke particles increased, and it was an order of magnitude larger than the effective smoking of mainstream smoke particles. The diameter of sidestream smoke particles was slightly smaller than that of mainstream smoke particles. The harm of sidestream smoke to human body is mainly reflected in the particulate matter. The amount of particulate matter in Taishan(hybrid)mainstream smoke and sidestream smoke is higher than that of the other three brands(flue-cured tobacco). The effective amount of smoke in Taishan mainstream smoke is also the highest. It is affected by tobacco leaf composition, density, additives, filter flow characteristics,etc.Factors.However,the particle size of flue-cured tobacco is larger than that of mixed type. The filter has little effect on filtering fine particles.Real-life experiments show that larger amounts of particulate matter are deposited in the lungs.Studying the harmful substances produced during cigarette smoking has great enlightenment for exhorting smoking, and provides a theoretical basis for subsequent research to reduce the harm of cigarette smoke. To provide an experimental basis for a better study of the mechanism of the occurrence of harmful substances and related diseases generated during smoking.
