The weak intermolecular interaction has always been one of the special concerns inthe field of chemistry and almost covers all the chemical processes. It can be divided into non-covalent interaction and weak covalent interaction, and most of them feature dynamic reversibility. The study of the nature and principles of weak intermolecular interactions has greatly promoted the development of fields such as chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, biological sciences, and materials science. In this paper, based on the weak intermolecular interactions, novel polymer systems were constructed and their responsiveness was studied. The results can be summarized as follows:1.Via the"one-pot"method,a novel main-chain supramolecular polymer has been successfully fabricated by using metal-ligand interaction and thiol-ene click reaction.~1H NMR,UV/vis,DOSY,and viscosity measurements were carried out to investigate the process of supramolecular polymerization and its dynamic properties. Moreover, the resulting supramolecular polymers were proved to be environmentally responsive. This work would provide a new approach to construct main-chain supramolecular polymers and supply an ideal candidate for the development of smart materials.2.A new kind of polymers with a single diselenium bond in the middle of the main chain was designed and synthesized, and its mechanoresponsiveness was studied.Using the ultrasonic experiments,we demonstrated that the presence of diselenium bonds promoted the cleavage of the polymer chains. The polymers containing diselenium bonds could be cleaved under the ultrasonic treatment and the cleavage was selective, varying from the control polymers without diselenium bonds. |
