The hydrocyclone is a compact and efficient centrifugal separation device that requires a certain pressure feed to achieve efficient separation.After the material is separated,the paddle at the overflow outlet still maintains a considerable speed,and the kinetic energy it contains is It is quite considerable.At present,this part of energy is directly dissipated and wasted.If this part of energy can be recovered,stored or recycled,it has a great significance for reducing energy consumption.In the traditional sense,kinetic energy recycling mainly relies on kinetic energy hydroelectric power generation technology to convert water energy into electrical energy through turbines.Using the power generation principle of the hydraulic turbine,a set of overflow residual energy recovery device installed at the outlet of the overflow pipe of the cyclone is designed.In order to explore the residual energy recovery effect of the device and its effect on the cyclone classification effect,a clean water test and a slime classification test were conducted.The test variables were the cyclone feed pressure,the cyclone overflow pipe diameter and the impeller blade angle.According to the results of the clean water test,the relationship between the feed pressure and the rotation speed of the shaft is drawn,and the law that the speed of the impeller increases with the increase of the feed pressure under clean water conditions is obtained.The optimal blade angle of the impeller is20 °.A qualitative analysis of the overflow residual energy recovery efficiency was carried out,and the law of the 20 ° impeller residual energy recovery efficiency first increased and then decreased with the increase of the feed pressure;the optimal impeller blade angle was 15°through the slime classification test.The installation of the blade has basically no effect on the classification effect of the cyclone.The ANSYS software was used to simulate the air distribution,static pressure distribution,tangential velocity distribution,axial velocity distribution,radial velocity distribution and impeller pressure distribution in the clear water test of the impeller,20°impeller,and 120°impeller cyclones.By comparing the distribution of the flow field in the cyclonewith or without the impeller,it is concluded that in the clear water test,the impeller will cause changes in the flow field inside the cyclone,including narrowing of the air column,tangential velocity,axial velocity and radial velocity Lower;by comparing the pressure distribution of 20°impeller and 120°impeller blades,the magnitude and pressure area of20°impeller are significantly greater than 120°impeller.It is verified that the speed of 20 ° impeller in the clear water test is significantly greater than 120° impeller test results.The overflow surplus energy device designed this time can help the energy saving and emission reduction of the beneficiation(coal)plant at the equipment level,and can greatly save the power consumption of the beneficiation(coal)plant and save the production cost in actual production.
