| After the world economic crisis in 2008,the steel industry,as a key industry in China,exposed a series of problems that seriously affected the healthy development of the industry,including overcapacity and low industrial concentration.In response,based on the industrial experience and lessons of developed countries,the country has successively introduced related steel industry integration policies.Domestic companies have responded to the call and reorganized and merged to enhance their overall strength.The academic community is also focusing on the domestic steel industry.Mergers and acquisitions.This article mainly uses the case analysis method,relying on the theory of corporate mergers and acquisitions and side-supply reform,and Baosteel Group as the representative of the steel industry.It analyzes mergers and acquisitions and merger activities at different stages,and evaluates the actual performance of the company in detail.Analyze the impact of actual performance on corporate M & A behavior.The results show that although relying on the capacity reduction policy in 2016,the steel industry has undergone a round of mergers and reorganizations,and its concentration has increased.However,it is still at a relatively low level internationally.China’s steel industry still faces the major problem of overcapacity.Restructuring is the development direction of China’s steel industry.This article conducts matching analysis of the relevant resources of the two parties,and uses financial indicators and WSD competitiveness factor analysis to evaluate the comprehensive performance of enterprises after mergers and acquisitions.It provides constructive suggestions for the policy makers of the steel industry and provides a future for the domestic steel industry.Development laid the foundational theory. |
