The sporting goods industry is a rising star in China,which is caused by the rapid development of the economy since the 21 st century when people paid more attention to sports.Therefore,China's sporting goods companies have sprung up like mushrooms and have continued to enter the international market in recent years.However,in developed countries,the development of the sporting goods industry has a relatively long history.In the 1970 s,the sporting goods industry in developed countries was already in a "maturity period".During this period of time,the sports goods industry in developed countries showed a high-speed development trend,such as Nike of the United States and Adidas of Germany.Although China's sporting goods companies are developing rapidly,their competitiveness in the international market is still insufficient,therefore they still fail to compete with large sportswear companies such as Nike and Adidas.Based on this,this article has adopted the literature research method and empirical research method to deeply explore and analyze the current competitiveness of China's sporting goods industry in the international market.First of all,the related theoretical basis and literature review of this article are described in detail,which have laid the theoretical basis for this article and provided a theoretical basis for subsequent researches on the international competitiveness of China's sports goods industry.And then the current status of domestic sporting goods exports and competition in the international market have been analyzed.And relevant data has been sorted out and summarized.The factors that affect the competition of China's sporting goods industry in the international market from the international competition status of China's sporting goods industry have been explored.At the same time,relevant data models have been used to carry out the quantitative analysis of the international competitiveness of the sporting goods industry.Finally,corresponding measures are proposed for the competitiveness of the sporting goods industry in the international market.For example,China's sporting goods industry should pay attention to brand image,improve product quality,change thinking,and accelerate cooperation with related and supporting industries to to drive China's sporting goods industry to be more influential in the international market,thus expanding its share in the international market.Also,by competing with well-known sports brands,China's sports companies can improve their competitiveness in the international market.
