With the developement of science and technology,people's living improved greatly.However,the energy and environmental problems have been seriously.Developing new kind of photocatalysts,which can be irradiated by sunlight energy and completely degrade organic contaminants has been focused on in the photocatalytic fields.Metal cyanamide is a new type of photocatalysts,which has been studied seldom,especially,the study on the photocatalytic property of nickel hydrogencyanamide Ni(HCN)2 has not been reported to the best of our knowledge.Firstly,Ni(HCN)2 has been synthesized through chemical precipitation using NiCl2·6H2O and H2NCN as precursors.The morphology and structure of the particles were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and infrared(IR).The UV-Vis spectra and Mott-Schottky measurement were carried out to determine the band structure of Ni(HCN)2.The adsorption and photocatalytic performances of Ni(HNCN)2 were investigated in the photocatalytic degradation of different anionic and cationic dyes and Cr(?).And the adsorption activity of Ni(HNCN)2 toward Congo red was also studied.The results showed,Ni(HNCN)2 presented higher photocatalytic activity for anionic dye than for cationic dye,and the beast adsorption property for Congo red.The Cr(?)was also removed effectively by Ni(HNCN)2 via the adsorption and photocatalytic reactions.Ni(HNCN)2/BiVO4 composite particles were prepared by mixing BiVO4 and Ni(HNCN)2 with different ratios under ultrasonic treatment.BiVO4 was prepared using Bi(NO3)3·5H2O and NH4VO3 as starting materials.The structure of the composites were characterized by XRD,SEM,IR,UV-Vis and Mott-Schottky curves.The adsorption and photocatalytic activities of the composites toward different dyes were investigated.The results showed that the photocatalytic activity of the Ni(HNCN)2/BiVO4 composite particles were enhanced compared with pristine particles,which was mainly due to the increased separation efficiency of photoionization electron-holes.Ag2NCN was prepared by chemical precipitation method.And the as-prepared Ag2NCN and Ni(HNCN)2 were ground sufficiently at different ratios to synthesize Ni(HNCN)2/Ag2NCN composite particles.The structure of the composite photocatalyst was characterized by XRD,SEM,IR,UV-Vis and Mott-Schottky curves.The photocatalytic activity of composite particles for Rhodamine B was investigated.The results showed that the photocatalytic performance of composite particles was better than single Ni(HNCN)2.
