Cylindrical spiral surface is a kind of curved surface that is widely used in the field of machinery industry,such as cylindrical end mills,drills and screw rotors.In the manufacture of spiral surface,the complicated end section of the spiral surface,high technical parameters and high manufacturing accuracy requirements make the study of its forming principle and processing technology an important research topic for mechanical equipment.With the improvement of modern machinery design and manufacturing technology requirements,the requirements for equipment and supporting auxiliary manufacturing software have also increased.Against this background,this thesis aims to achieve high-efficiency and high-precision machining of helical surfaces,and studies the machining process methods and some key technologies of tool products with special helical surfaces as the main geometric features,providing certain technical support for the solution of similar problems.The thesis mainly includes the following aspects:1.Based on the theory of conjugate meshing and the principle of helical surface formation,a contact condition formula for the helical surface of the tool and the turning surface of the grinding wheel is established.Based on the contact condition formula,a mathematical model for the reciprocal solution of the tool spiral surface section and the grinding wheel section is established.The key parameters of the geometric structure of the spiral cutter and the spiral surface forming process are briefly introduced,which provides a theoretical basis for the grinding process of the tool spiral surface.2.Based on the parallel grinding wheel grinding principle of a cylindrical end mill,a mathematical model for solving the spiral section of a cylindrical end mill is established based on the parallel grinding wheel section,and the key parameters of the spiral surface of the cylindrical end mill are calculated.The five-axis CNC tool grinder modeling,the simulation technology development methods and actual grinding processing are used respectively to carry out the grinding simulation verification of the spiral surface of the cylindrical end mill,which provides a theoretical verification simulation platform for the research of the forming grinding technology of the cutter spiral surface.3.Based on the principle of precision forming grinding of twist drills,a mathematical model for the reciprocal solution of the twist section of the twist drill and the cross section of the forming wheel is established,and the key technologies of the solution of the shape of the grinding wheel and the influence of the initial placement position of the end section of the spiral surface,the selection of the contact line equation solution,and the installation parameters on the profile of the grinding wheel are analyzed.Aiming at the twist tool with a complicated end section of the spiral surface,the key technologies such as the sectional calculation of the end section of the spiral surface,the correction of the grinding wheel section data and the fitting of the section curve are discussed;A set of calculation software for cross-section calculation of forming grinding wheel for twist drill was developed.The correctness of the calculation method is verified by grinding simulation machining based on CAD/CAM technology.
