In this thesis, the work is associated with two kinds of aromatic carboxylic acid-based lanthanide complexes.Using 2-chloroisonicotinic acid(HL1)as ligand, four one-dimensional coordination polymers have been synthesized:including two isostructural SmIII(1)and EuIII(2)complexes and another two isostructural TbIII(3)and DyIII(4)complexes.We prepared three series of complexs through using 2-quinolinecarboxylic acid(HL2)as ligand, including four mononuclear complexes, four tetranuclear complexes and four one-dimensionalcoordination polymers. All complexes have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, thermal gravimetric analysis and antibacterial activity.1.Complexes 1-4 were synthesized through HL1 and LnIII ions with the formula of{[Ln(L1)3(CH3OH)(H2O)]·H2O}n(Ln=Sm(1),Eu(2))and{[Ln2(L1)6(H2O)4]n}(Ln=Tb(3),Dy(4)).Three series of complexes were synthesized through HL2 and LnIII ions, including mononuclear complexes with the formula of{[Ln(L2)3(HL2)]·9H2O}(Ln=Tb(5),Dy(6),Ho(7),Er(8)),tetranuclear complexes with the formula of{[Ln4(L2)12(H2O)6]·2H2O}(Ln=Tb(9),Dy(10),Ho(11),Er(12))and one-dimensional coordination polymers with the formula of[Ln(L2)3(H2O)2]n(Ln=Tb(13),Dy(14),Ho(15),Er(16)).2.Fluorscent analyses demonstrated that complexes 1-4 showed the characteristic fluorscence of the corresponding LnIII ions fluorscence, complexes 2 and 3 could be the luminescent probes of Al3+.3.In vitro bioactivity analysis:We used filter paper method to measure the antimicrobial activity of the complexes 1-16 on gram-negative bacteria and gram-positive,and screened out the complexes with good bacteriostasis. The minimum inhibitory concentration and the minimum bactericidal concentration of HL2 and complexes 8,12 and16 were determined by microdilution method. The antibacterial rate of HL2 and complexe8 was determined by turbidimetry.
