The materials of magnetic composites with particles dispersed in polymer matrix have very extensive application.According to references investigation,there are no relevant reports about aligned anisotropic permanent magnetic composite based on thermal plastic polyurathane,and because of the magnetic remanence for this kind of materials in aligned direction,it possess wide application which is worthy for investigation.In this research,we prepare this kind of composites according to a two-step melting blending process.The fabrication mechanism and magnetic properties of the composites have also been studied through different approaches.At the same time,it is concluded that the fabrication method can also be applied in the fabrication of the composites based on other permanent magnetic materials.During the orientation process the particles would form chain-like structure which is named as shape anisotropy.Instead,when particles just stay in a random dispersion state,the physical and chemical properties of the material are consistent with that of the material fabricated at solid state,which is named as shape isotropy.Finally,various characterization results show that the isotropic magnetic polymer composites are different from anisotropic magnetic composites which have relatively high remanence.Basically,our study demonstrated that the processing conditions are crucial in controlling the magnetic property of the composites and this kind of materials are of great potential in related applications.
