Asymmetric catalysis is one of the most important methods for the synthesis of chiral compounds. It has been widely used in preparation of pesticides, medicines and materials. The chiral catalyst play a crucial role in asymmetric catalytic reactions.Preparing new and highly efficient chiral catalysts has always been one of the most focus in the field of asymmetric catalysis.?-ketoesters are important chemical synthetic raw materials and intermediates for the synthesis of complex compounds and natural products. In this dissertation, some novel binaphthyl chiral catalysts were designed and synthesized, and the application of these catalysts in the asymmetric reaction of?-ketoester compound was carried out. This paper is divided into three chapters:In the first chapter, the formation of asymmetric carbon-carbon bond,carbon-oxygen bond and carbon-nitrogen bond at the ?-position of ?-ketoester compound was reviewed, for the proposed research topics in this chapter. In the second chapter, the design and synthesis of binaphthol derivatives with phthalimide structure, binaphthylamine were introduced. In the third chapter, studies on the asymmetric reaction at ?-position of ?-ketoester compounds were described.Using 5,6-dimethoxyfluorenone as starting material and reacting with dimethyl carbonate,we obtain methyl 5,6-dimethoxyindoleate,which was used as a substrate to evaluate the synthesizesd chiral catalyst. The asymmetric construction of the carbon-carbon bond,carbon-oxygen bond and carbon-nitrogen bond at the ?-position.None of the synthesized catalysts was able to promote the designed transformation. In the fourth chapter, the experimentals operation were investigatigated and spectral data of some compounds in the paper were recorded.
