Plastic honeycomb plate is a kind of composite packaging material which has been developed late but has a broad market prospect and great potential for development.Honeycomb I-beam structure has good compressive capacity.Compared with paper honeycomb,plastic material has better water resistance,insect resistance and long service life.Compared with plastic honeycomb,it has the advantages of low cost,light weight and transparency.But at present,the processing technology and equipment of plastic honeycomb panel are obviously behind that of honeycomb paperboard,with low production efficiency and poor production flexibility,which can’t meet the market demand.It is necessary to design a new production process for continuous production of plastic honeycomb panels,so as to improve the production and processing methods of plastic honeycomb panels.In this paper,we first summarize the processing methods and development status of plastic honeycomb panels at home and abroad,and understand the advantages and disadvantages of existing plastic honeycomb panels,so as to identify the improvement goals.The research and application of plastic profile and simulation technology at home and abroad are summarized,which will lay a foundation for the extrusion technology and thermal fluid solid coupling simulation test.The continuous extrusion process was used as the production process of the plastic honeycomb core,and the production process was formulated.Then using SolidWorks 3D modeling software and ANSYS Workbench simulation analysis software,using multi-objective optimization method of simulation and optimization design on the stress of plastic honeycomb board structure,identified in the pallet as the application background,the optimal structure and size of the PP plastic honeycomb board material.Secondly,heat transfer theory is applied to analyze the heat transfer of plastic honeycomb core in stock mold.The initial conditions and boundary conditions are determined,which lays the foundation for the simulation of the thermal fluid solid coupling of the plastic honeycomb core in stock mould.In extrusion production line,stock mould is the key equipment which influencing the production efficiency and the quality of the honeycomb core.In order to improve the efficiency and product quality of production,this paper will model preprocessing and postprocessing module,using FLUENT to simulate heated mold to shape of plastic honeycomb core.Determination of each batch of plastic honeycomb core production level and production efficiency,provide a theoretical basis for the design of production line of extrusion die and molding production of key equipment.Finally,the design of the plastic honeycomb plate production line and the drawing of the virtual prototype are carried out according to the optimization value of the mold.Taking the application of pallet as an example,the application of plastic honeycomb plate in the packaging industry is analyzed and studied.The standard wooden pallets and plastic honeycomb pallet were compared in quality and load performance,analysis of test application potential of plastic honeycomb board pallet with simulation,promote the application of plastic honeycomb board in manufacturing industry,expand the market share of plastic honeycomb board.
