In this paper,dehydroabietylamine(DHAA)was introduced into the curing reaction of epoxy resin,and the effect of the introduction of phenanthrene ring structure on the curing reaction of epoxy resin was measured,and the properties of the carbon fiber composite material were investigated.It was tested that under the action of the diuron catalyst,the active hydrogen atoms in the dehydroabietylamine were subjected to an addition polymerization reaction with epoxy groups in the epoxy resin to crosslink into a spatial network structure.The resin components mainly used in the study were bisphenol A epoxy resin(E-03 type),4,4'-(1-methylethylidene)bisphenol,and(chloromethyl)ethylene oxide polymer.Glycidol-terminated bisphenol-A epichlorohydrin copolymer was prepared by heating and mixing,then dehydroabietylamine,dicyandiamide,and the catalyst diuron were mixed and the resin was cooled and stored.The cross-linking reaction of dehydrogenabianamine with epoxy resin was initiated by heating and the phenanthrene ring structure was introduced into the epoxy resin system.Under the same conditions,the initial reaction temperature of the dehydroabietylamine resin formulation is 138.98°C.The highest reaction temperature of Tmax is 152.10°C and the reaction heat is 375.1 J/g,which is higher than the dicyandiamide curing agent.Therefore,the DHAA resin formulation system has a wide range of adjustable temperature range and viscosity in the preparation process of prepreg,and the design range of the coating is also more convenient to operate.The mixed resin of DHAA and epoxy resin is prepared by impregnating the mixed resin into the carbon fiber prepreg by using the Hotmelt method(prepreg manufacturing process),and then forming a composite material by prepreg lamination and molding.The mechanical properties of DHAA composites were tested by reference standard ASTM D2344,ASTM D790 and ASTM D7136.The DHAA composite impact strength is 40kg,the shear strength is 7.5 kg/mm~2,the bending stress is 119 kg/mm~2,and the strain of 0.014mm/mm~2.The reference standard ATSM D7028 uses the dynamic mechanical thermal analysis DMA to detect the material by thermal scanning,and the Tg is 121.59°C.The same test piece is re tested with the Tg value of 120.17°C,indicating that the heat resistance of the DHAA composite is stable and good.The results show that DHAA has the activity to react with epoxy group,and the composite has excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties.
