Seven coordination compounds with new crystal structures were synthesized by diffusion process and hydrothermal synthesis methods,with 1,5 naphthalene disulfonic salts as the main ligand and the second ligands including 1,4-bis(1-imidazolyl)benzene,2,2-Dipyridyl and 1,10-Phenanthroline.Different characteristics measurements including X-ray single crystal diffraction and software SHELXTL-97 have been used to determine the crystal structure of the skeleton and properties of the compound.X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)and thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA)have been used to analyze the purity and stability.Infrared spectroscopy(IR)and fluorescence spectra have been used to discuss the physical and chemical properties.The molecular recognition properties of the compounds have been studied by Fluorescence spectra with the suspension of compounds 1-7 in different small molecules solvents.The electrical properties of the surface of the compound 1-7 were studied by using surface photo voltage and field induced surface photo voltage technique,optical and.The magnetic properties of compounds 1,6 and 7 have been also discussed.The molecular formulas of 7 compounds are list as follows:(1)–(3)[M(BIMB)2(nds)]·2(H2O)M=Ni(1),Co(2),Mn(3)(4)[Pb(BIMB)2(nds)H2O](5)[Zn2(bpy)4(nds)(H2O)2]nds·3(H2O)(6)[Ni2(bpy)4(nds)(H2O)2]nds(7)[Ni(C10N2H8)2(nds)(H2O)]·4(H2O)The compounds 1-4 were synthesized with 1,4-bis(1-imidazolyl)benzene as the second ligand by hydrothermal method,under normal temperature conditions;the compound 5,6with 2,2-Dipyridyl as the second ligand by the diffusion process;compounds 7 with1,10-Phenanthroline as the second ligand.Wherein the compound 1-3 belong to 3D structure coordination compounds;compound 4 is 1D coordination polymer with a chain structure;compound 5,6,and 7 are supramolecular coordination polymers.Compound 1 has some recognition abilities for small molecule solvents including methanol and isopropanol.The photovoltaic response of compounds 1,2,3,4 or 5 increases with the enhancement of applied voltage,which means they have the nature of a p-type semiconductor.The measurement results of the surface of the photovoltaic properties of the compound 6 decreases with the increasing applied voltage,which means they have the nature of an n-type semiconductor.The magnetic properties of compounds have been discussed in details.
