Hardened steel Cr12MoV has good wear resistance, widely used in automotive mold and other industries. At present,high-speed milling has become the mainstream processing technology of hardened steel molds, and the texture direction, residual height and distribution of formed surface have important influence on the friction and wear properties of mold surface during use.And the surface friction and wear properties of the surface materials are more complex than those of the matrix materials. In the use of hardened steel molds, the friction between the sheet and the mold surface is mainly dry sliding friction. In order to solve the problem of dry sliding friction damage of hardened steel Cr12MoV surface, this paper attempts to clarify the inherent relationship between milling parameters-surface texture-surface friction damage behavior, and proposes highspeed milling to ensure surface wear performance. The process control method has important theoretical and practical significance for ensuring the surface quality of automobile molds, improving the surface wear resistance and service life.Based on the actual processing parameters of the surface of the hardened steel mold, the mechanism of the microscopic texture generation is explored, and the characteristic parameter analysis model of the surface microcell is established.Based on the relevant basic theory of friction and wear, the main factors affecting the dry friction and wear, which provides a theoretical basis for analyzing the dry sliding friction and wear behavior of surface texture. On the basis of the established surface texture model, the numerical simulation software Deform-3D was used to simulate the dry sliding friction and wear of the high speed milling surface. The surface stress field, temperature field and damage field distribution were obtained, combined with the milling process parameters analysis of the causes of damage. The surface texture morphology was obtained by the high-speed milling test formed on the machined surface, and the influence of the milling process parameters on the geometrical features of the surface morphology and the surface metamorphic layer was analyzed.Friction and wear were carried out using the formed surface texture samples. The surface of the sample was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and the changes of the surface friction and wear were obtained by comparing the texture morphology before and after friction and wear.Based on the experimental data and the experimental results,a mapping model of the process parameters, texture direction and wear depth was established based on the response surface method. The influence of milling process parameters and surface texture on the dry sliding friction damage behavior was discussed.
