All along,precision measurement and precision manufacturing technology are complementary.While precision measurement provides a detecting means for precision machining products,the promotion of precision manufacturing technology can produce a more precise measuring instrument,both of which are an important factor to measure the level of national science and technology and industry.In the mechanical products,circular parts or parts including circular contour can be seen everywhere.The roundness error on working surface of these parts directly affects their performance,so precise measurement of the roundness error for mechanical products seems to be very important.As a special kind of precision instruments to evaluate roundness error,now roundness tester exists problems of low measuring accuracy and insufficient stability because of noise interfering of mechanical,electrical,and other aspects of the environment present widely during the measurement,leading to signal distortion.In order to solve the problem of noise interference in roundness tester,the paper make use of quality characteristics of wavelet analysis in signal processing,after analysing the characteristics of different types of wavelet denoising analysis and simulation experiment,to select the wavelet soft threshold denoising method to eliminate the noise of roundness tester measured data in MATLAB.The result has eliminated noise interfering effectively,and the evaluated roundness error using denoising data has improved greatly than before,verifying the applicative feasibility and accuracy of wavelet soft threshold denoising method for roundness tester measured data.Based on the high speed computing power of modern DSP chip,and its advantagesof real-time processing of continuous signals,the paper has designed the DSP hardware and software system to denoise measured data of roundness tester by taking TMS320F28335B processor as the core.the design of the noise roundness measurement data of DSP hardware and software system,The main circuit module of hardware system includes power,clock,reset,JTAG interface,memory expansion and so on.In software design,wavelet threshold denoising algorithm of the DSP process was given depended on the integrated development environment;and the analysis and evaluation of the roundness error were carried on,the result of which has verifyed the feasibility and accuracy of application of DSP technology in the processing for measured data of roundness tester,discussing a way to improve the measuring accuracy of roundness tester and provide a theoretical basis for the promotion of measuring accuracy and stability of roundness tester.
