Pyridine compounds are very common and very important nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds and widely distributed in nature.Through the efforts of several generations of scientists, pyridine compounds have been widely applied to many fields of human society.Based on this, the synthesis of pyridine compounds has always been a hot spot in the field of organic synthesis. The first part of this paper includes the first chapter, the second chapter and the third chapter. In the 1st chapter, the application and synthesis methods of pyridine compounds are introduced. We introduced the synthetic methods of pyridine compounds in chronological order. In the 2nd chapter,a metal free catalytic reaction of oxime ester derivatives and l-phenylglycine our group developed to build multi-substituted pyridines is introduced. The method has the environmentally friendly advantage. In the third chapter,a copper catalytic synthesis of pyridines which has advantages of simple operation and good yields,is introduced.Aromatic nitro compounds are widely used, because they can turn into other functional groups through a variety of other simple methods. In the traditional application, the aromatic nitro compounds are used as the synthetic materials of explosives and dyes.In fact, with the efforts of numerous chemical researchers,it is found that aromatic nitro compounds have more potential value of research and application in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. The second part of this paper includes the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter. The fourth chapter is an overview of the importance and synthesis methodsof aromatic nitro compounds.Various methods for the synthesis of aromatic nitro compounds reported in recent years are described briefly in the order of time.Chapter five is a detailed description of the new method that copper catalyzed ortho-nitration of arenes. We use N-phenylpyridin-2-amines as substrates, iron(III)nitrate nonahydrate as nitrating agent, copper(II)chloride dihydrate as catalyst, which makes this method has advantages of mild reaction condition, high yields and good regioselectivity.
