In life,the chiral pHenomenon is widely existent,for example,the helical structure is held together by the matched hydrogen bonding of the base pair.inspired by the chiral structure in life,the chiral research on basis of the valence bond effect have attracted considerable attentions.At present,the researched on supramolecular chirality mainly focus on the solution system and surface system with the vast space,which are limited for the understanding of chiral process in living organism because the biological environment is generally confined.Hence,it is a challenging task to study the supramolecular chirality in confined space.In recent years,inspired by the biological channel,the bionic nanochannel based on the polymer materials has become a research hotspot.The artificial nanochannels not only possess good stability and regulated characters in shape and modification,but also can provided with the nanoscale confined space.in 2011,our group built a?-CD-modified conical nanochannel to achieve the high chiral recognition to D/L-His.Unfortunately,it is not known whether the structure of the nanochannel contributes to the high chiral selectivity.Therefore,we fabricated a serize of nanochannels with the different structure to inspect the chiral-selective ability on basis of the valence bond interaction.Furthermore,we make use of the confined space of the nanochannel to test the behavior of chiral induction.in this paper,there are the three aspects of works contained as following.Firstly,some conical nanochannels with the different taper angle and cylinder nanochannels with the different diameter were fabricated and further were modified with chiral molecule ?-CD to gain the different chiral nanochannels that were used to test the chiral selectivity to D/L-His respectively.The experiment result suggests that the diameter change have the distinct effect on chiral selectivity comparing with the taper change and the chiral nanochannel with the less than 60nm diameter can exhibit the obvious chiral selectivity.Secondly,on basis of the above result,we try to further improve the chiral selectivity by constructing two chiral tips.Therefore,the like-cigar nanochannel with two tip sides was fabricated and then,the chiral D-pHe-modified Pillar[5]arene was fixed on two sides of the nanochannel.it was investigated that the two chiral tips are used for the chiral selectivity separately and simultaneously.The result shows that two chiral tips for chiral selectivity separately can be achieved and two chiral tips for chiral selectivity simultaneously exhibited the better chiral-selectivityThirdly,in order to know whether the confined nanochannel have also the effect on other chiral pHenomenon in supramolecular system,the chiral induction of TPPS4 with the advantages of bio-compatibility and water solubility was investigated in nanochannel.Hence,it was inspected that the D/L-Lys with the low concentration(10-5M)induce the TPPS4(10-5M)in the bare nanochannel.The result shows that the nanochannel can boost the chiral induction of the D/L-Lys to TPPS4,leading to the enhanced CD signal.
