In order to clarify the relationship between soil factors and sphagnum yield under different water level control, and to analyze the main soil factors affecting sphagnum yield. In this study, sphagnum with the same planting years in Shuitai village,Longli County,Guizhou Province was selected as the research object, and three different water levels were set by field plot experiment.By analyzing the physiological and ecological characteristics of sphagnum and soil factors under different water level conditions, and combining with redundancy analysis, the interaction between water level and soil factors and their effects on the physiological and ecological indicators of sphagnum are discussed. The purpose of this study was to study the effects of different water level treatments on soil environment and yield of sphagnum, and to summarize the rule of change. So as to provide a theoretical basis for the establishment of high quality planting mode of sphagnum sphagnum. The specific test results are as follows:(1)5 Sphagnum species with the same genus were found, among which Sphagnum palustre L.ssp.Palustre was the dominant species.(2)In the same measurement period, the plant height, main stem diameter and sprout number of the dominant species increased gradually with the increase of water level,Ex > L > H,and reached the maximum value under the condition of high water level, indicating that water level had a significant promoting effect on the morphological indexes of sphagnum.Meanwhile, under the same water level condition, the plant height, main stem diameter and sprout number of sphagnum showed an increasing trend with the extension of planting time, and all reached the maximum value in december. Therefore,it can be inferred that increasing the water level and prolonging the planting time will be more conducive to the growth of dominant species.(3)In the same measurement period, the chlorophyll content of dominant species increased gradually with the increase of water level, and reached the maximum value at high water level. At the same time, the chlorophyll content of sphagnum decreased gradually with the extension of planting time, and decreased to the minimum value in December. The results indicated that the change of water level could directly or indirectly affect the synthesis and decomposition of chlorophyll in sphagnum, and the increase of water level significantly promoted the synthesis of chlorophyll. The other physiological and biochemical indexes of the dominant species increased with the water level increasing in the same measurement period,Ex > L > H,and reached the maximum value at high water level. There was no significant correlation between the biomass and the planting time of dominant species except that the biomass increased gradually with the extension of planting time.(4)The correlation analysis between growth traits and yield of dominant species showed that plant height and main stem diameter were the main factors to improve biomass of dominant species, while chlorophyll content inhibited biomass of dominant species. At the same time, the correlation coefficient increased with the water level increasing, indicating that the increase of water level was helpful to increase the biomass of dominant species.(5)Total Nitrogen(TN,Total Nitrogen),Total Phosphorus(TP),Total potassium(TK,Total Kalium),Available Phosphorus(AP),Available potassium(AK,Available Kalium decreased gradually with water level rising, indicating that water level rising accelerated the leaching loss of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.Urease(URE),Acid phosphatase(ACP)and Catalase(CAT)increased with water level increasing, indicating that soil water content contributed to the improvement of soil enzyme activity.(6)The results of correlation analysis showed that the soil bulk density, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium contents were negatively correlated with the physiological and ecological indexes of sphagnum under different water level conditions, suggesting that the bulk density, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium might inhibit the growth of sphagnum. The other soil factors were significantly positively correlated with the physiological and ecological indexes of S.palustre, among which Wat(Water Level)and URE were extremely significantly positively correlated, suggesting that Wat and URE may contribute to the growth of sphagnum. Conclusions,it is necessary to ensure that the soil is acidic and nutri-poor in order to increase the yield of Sphagnum. It is important to increase the water level of the groove to about 0-5cm with increasing the porosity and relaxation of the soil.
