In the preliminary slope design stage and landslip emergency disposal stage,it is very important to realize rapid stability calculation of slopes, which can greatly improve the efficiency of slope design as well as quickly form a suitable emergency treatment plan, and help designers improve their experience judgment. In the stability analysis of a slope, the stability level and potential damage area of the slope are generally evaluated by a simple minimum safety factor and its corresponding critical slip surface, but the slip surface, which may not be the minimum safety factor but has a wider potential damage area or is more important in an engineering sense,is often neglected. The slope critical slip field method can accurately and quickly find the critical slip surface of any slope shape and represent the dangerous sliding surface at all exits,so that the overall and local stability of the slope can be analyzed in an all-round way, which is obviously better than other calculation methods in many aspects. Therefore, this paper proposes a fast calculation method for slope stability analysis based on the global critical slip field(GCSF)method.By applying the LB?CSF analysis software based on the slope critical slip field method,a two-dimensional homogeneous slope stability factor of safety graph is calculated and plotted, and a convenient empirical formula for the solution of the factor of safety is fitted by regression. And for the more common non-homogeneous slopes in practical engineering,a rapid estimation method for non-homogeneous slope stability analysis is proposed. The details of the study are as follows:(1)Using the SLOPE/W analysis module in the Canadian Geo-studio system software and the LB?CSF analysis software based on the critical slip field theory of slopes, respectively,a series of slope cases were analyzed for stability with the Morgenstern-Price method for calculating the safety factor at the same time. The accuracy and superiority of the calculation results of LB?CSF analysis software based on the global critical slip field method under the framework of the strict limit equilibrium bar separation method are verified.(2)In order to facilitate the rapid calculation of stability analysis of homogeneous slopes, this paper uses LB?CSF,a theoretical calculation system of slope critical sliding field,to calculate 6144 two-dimensional homogeneous slopes and establish a chart of stability safety coefficients of two-dimensional homogeneous slopes based on the global critical field method, while regression fitting the applicable empirical formulas. And the accuracy and feasibility of the graphical method and empirical formula established in this paper are verified by a series of slope calculation examples. In addition to this, the location and morphology of the slip surface of the homogeneous slope were found to be influenced by the dimensionless parameter c/(?Htan?)of the soil strength in the course of the study.(3)For non-homogeneous slopes that are more in line with actual engineering, this paper proposes an equivalent treatment of soil parameters as well as slope geometry parameters under different circumstances. After transforming it into a simple homogeneous slope and then calculating its stability factor of safety, the feasibility of each equivalent method under different situations is verified by a series of slope stability analysis assessment problems and arithmetic examples. It is also found that by solving the minimum coefficient of safety for equivalent homogeneous slopes through the graphs or empirical formulas established in this paper,it is possible to quickly and accurately determine the lower limit value of the coefficient of safety for a specified slip surface of a non-homogeneous slope.(4)In order to further prove that the fast calculation method of slope stability analysis based on the global critical slip field method is reasonable and feasible, this paper demonstrates the feasibility of the method proposed in this paper to simplify nonhomogeneous slopes into homogeneous slopes for calculation in practical engineering through the practical application of landslide stability analysis of high and steep roadbeds on the left side of DZK22+560?DZK22+660 section of a highway. At the same time, the graph of two-dimensional homogeneous slope stability safety coefficients established in this paper and the empirical formulas are successfully applied in practical engineering.Figure: [71] table:[14] reference:[76]...
