At present,coal is still an important strategic resource in China.With the continuous improvement of coal mine safety production requirements,underground fine detection has gradually been paid attention to.As a representative method in the field of engineering geophysics,borehole radar detection is favored by coal mine exploration personnel.In actual production,due to the complex geological conditions of the mining area,various types of safety accidents emerge in endlessly,including accidents caused by coal seam roof collapse,collapse column or fracture zone permeability.Therefore,using borehole radar to accurately determine the position of coal seam roof and floor and identify the geological structure that threatens the safety of mining is an important topic to ensure the safety of coal mine production.This paper focused on the borehole radar data processing and interpretation of this subject,to achieve fine detection of coal seam roof and floor and harmful geological structure as the main technical objectives of the following four parts of the study.The first part is numerical simulation of coal seam roof and floor and special structure model.These models include horizontal borehole model with multi frequency and multi seam thickness,inclined borehole model with single frequency and multi dip angle,fault model,fracture zone model,collapse column model and gangue model.The second part is the study of borehole radar data processing and interpretation process.Among them,the data processing mainly draws on the mainstream signal processing methods,which can effectively realize the denoising and enhancement of radar profile.The data interpretation part mainly aims at the fine detection design of coal seam roof and floor,which can realize the picking and display of roof and floor positions.The third part is the development of supporting software.This part uses MATLAB language to materialize the processing and interpretation process,so that the process can be applied in production practice.The fourth part validates the data processing and interpretation process and software in specific applications with a view to confirming the usability of the process and software.This paper provides a preliminary verification of the feasibility of radar detection in underground coal mine boreholes,which provides a reference for borehole radar data processors and provides basic data and important guidance for the next research.In this paper,a set of processing and interpretation scheme of underground coal mine borehole radar data for identifying the top and bottom plate location is proposed.In addition,this paper successfully developed a set of borehole radar data processing and interpretation software,and proposed a MATLAB graphical interactive interface software development idea.This idea can be applied not only to the software development of this study,but also to other MATLAB-based software development work.Finally,this paper validates the process and software using simulated and measured data,and confirms the effectiveness and feasibility of the process and software.The following results and conclusions were obtained from the research content of this paper.In terms of numerical simulation,this paper provides a preliminary verification of the feasibility of radar detection in underground coal mine boreholes,which provides a reference for borehole radar data processors and also provides basic data and important guidance for the next research.In this paper,a set of processing and interpretation scheme of underground coal mine borehole radar data for identifying the top and bottom plate location is proposed.In addition,this paper successfully developed a set of borehole radar data processing and interpretation software,and proposed a MATLAB graphical interactive interface software development idea.This idea can be applied not only to the software development of this study,but also to other MATLAB-based software development work.
