| Soil seismic response analysis is an important method for estimating the site ground motion parameters,and whether the calculation method is reasonable or not directly affects the results of the site ground motion parameters.This paper firstly introduces the SMASS array in detail in terms of the location of the array measurement points,site data and the mechanical parameters of each soil layer.The following results were obtained by using different one-dimensional soil seismic response analysis methods to calculate the ground motion at different depths and comparing them with the actual strong earthquake records.The major accomplishments of the thesis are as follows:(1)Analysis of Guye and Luanzhou strong earthquake records by the conventional spectral ratio method was carried out to study the effect of soil structure on ground motion amplification at different depths.The results show that the amplification effect of deep soil layers on ground motion is not obvious,but the amplification effect of superficial soil layers(above 30 m from the surface)is significant,and the amplification effect of superficial soil layers on the high-frequency component of ground motion is more significant than that of low-frequency component at the SMASS station site;the influence of soil structure on both horizontal and vertical ground motion exists.(2)Current one-dimensional soil seismic response analysis procedures for calculating ground motion in deep soil layers,the peak ground accelerations obtained by LSSRLI-1 and DEEPSOIL is smaller than the actual strong earthquake records,while SOILRESPONSE is larger than the actual strong earthquake records when calculating ground motion in shallow soil layers.The peak accelerations calculated by LSSRLI-1,SOILRESPONSE and DEEPSOIL are all smaller than the actual strong earthquake records;as the depth of burial decreases,the peak groud accelerations calculated by LSSRLI-1,SOILRESPONSE and DEEPSOIL first decrease and then increase,which is somewhat different from the actual situation,and the surface peak ground accelerations calculated by all four programs are smaller than the actual strong earthquake records.(3)In the current 1D seismic response analysis program,LSSRLI-1 does not respond to the high-frequency seismic response when calculating the medium and highfrequency components,which may distort the calculation results;when calculating the ground motion at 65 m below ground,the amplitude of the high-frequency components in the response spectra and Fourier spectra calculated by SOILRESPONSE is larger than the actual value;in the low-frequency part,LSSRLI-1,SOILRESPONSE,SOILQUAKE and DEEPSOIL calculated response spectra and Fourier spectra shape are not different from the actual ones;LSSRLI-1 calculations are consistent with the actual ones only at low frequencies,SOILRESPONSE is consistent with the actual ones in the frequency range of 0.2-10 Hz,and is larger than the actual ones after 10 Hz.The DEEPSOIL calculations are consistent with the actual ground motion spectral ratio,but the whole amplitude is smaller than the actual value. |
