Microbial metallurgy has the advantages of being resource-friendly,environment-friendly and economical.For microbial metallurgy,the processing of sulfide ores is difficult,and large-scale industrial applications have safety risks;reducing the sulfur content in ores is of great significance for environmental protection and improvement of steel quality.With the increase in the price of imported ore in recent years,it is the best choice for resource utilization and cost saving to choose microbial metallurgy to pretreat local rough ore to make it reach the standard of blast furnace ironmaking.In this paper,a microbial desulfurization experiment was carried out on iron concentrates based on the mixed bacterial flora with sulfur as electron donor and Thiobacillus ferrooxidans with iron as electron donor.A column leaching reactor was designed,adding 400 g of mineral powder and 400 ml of nutrient solution.And 10%bacterial agent,continuous aeration at room temperature to carry out the column leaching desulfurization experiment.During the ore leaching process,the sulfate concentration,p H,desulfurization rate and nutrient elements in the leaching system were tested in a cycle of 5 days,and the reasons and influencing factors of the changes in various indicators during the desulfurization process were explored..The surface microscopic morphology and functional group changes of the ore before and after leaching were compared and analyzed to explore the influence of microbial erosion on the ore.The differences between the two microorganisms in the etching process and the reasons for the differences were compared and analyzed,and the equipment used in large-scale microbial metallurgy was analyzed to find out the existing safety risks and put forward control measures.The research results show that the mixed bacterial flora has the effect of acid production and desulfurization,and can effectively remove S in the ore,and the desulfurization effect is stronger than that of T.f.Both microorganisms can use the elements leached from the ore for their own growth and metabolism,and produce acid during the etching process,reducing the p H of the system,and the mixed bacteria can better leach the element Al in the ore,while T.f erodes the system for a longer time.The nutrient element P needs to be supplemented.The surface roughness of the ore treated with two kinds of microorganisms decreased and the surface properties changed to different degrees.Analyze part of the equipment involved in large-scale microbial metallurgy,find out the existing risks,and propose corresponding safety control measures for the risks to improve the safety of microbial metallurgy operations.
