The central region of northern Anhui Province is located at the southern edge of the North China Block,including many metallogenic belts such as Huaibei-Su County,Huainan-Bengbu,etc.,has two mineral deposits such as Lianghuai Mine and Yangqiaozi Copper-Gold Mine,with excellent metallogenic geological conditions.However,the cenozoic community in this region widely develops,and the lack of comprehensive geophysical prospecting and research such as gravity,magnetic and electric has somewhat limited the progress of geological research.Relatively,this paper systematically collects gravity and magnetotelluric data from the central region of northern Anhui Province,constrained by surface geology and drilling,based on rock properties,establishes the electrical structures of the two main sections W-1 and W-2 through magnetotellurics two-dimensional inversion calculation,combines the characteristics of gravity and magnetic field distribution,by gravity-magnetic-electric joint inversion retrieval of modeling techniques,repeatedly understands,and preliminary constructs a section geologic-geophysical model.On the basis,combined with the planar structural information reflected by gravity and magnetism and its data processing maps,the distribution of major strata(physical layers)in the central part of northern Anhui Province and the deep development characteristics of the main fault structure were analyzed;the boundaries of major structural units were discussed to provide references for further geological exploration work in the region.
