In the study of complex networks,the optimization of traffic capacity is always a very hot topic.The transmission function is one of the important functions of the network.The study on traffic capacity of complex networks is mainly based on the actual data to build a network model,and then proposes corresponding strategies to improve traffic capacity.At the beginning of the study of traffic capacity optimization strategy,the main research objects have been concentrated in single-layer networks.With the development of study on complex networks,the study of the traffic capacity optimization strategy appears in two-layer networks.However,there are many networks with more than two layers in real life.And single-layer network models and two-layer network models can not fully reflect the characteristics of complex networks with exceeding two layers in the real world.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a corresponding multi-layer network model with more than two layers,and then propose corresponding strategies to improve traffic capacity.Specific works are as follows:1)According to the phenomenon that two logical layers map to one physical layer in the real world,three-layer network model with two logical layers share one physical layer is established,and the dynamics of information traffic on the three-layer networks is investigated.In order to study the network performance of three-layer networks with different combinations of logical layers,three different kinds of three-layer networks with different combinations of logical layers are established.The analysis and comparison of three different kinds of three-layer networks from four aspects: the critical value of packet generation rate,the average packet travel time,the average throughput and the variation of average path length.2)An effective link deletion strategy is proposed to improve traffic capacity of three-layer networks with two logical layers share one physical layer.In the link deletion strategy,the influence of the high-degree nodes in the two logical layers on the network traffic capacity is fully considered.In order to study the influence of changing the structure of different numbers of logical layers on the traffic capacity of multi-layer networks,one logical layer link deletion rule and two logical layer link deletion rule are proposed,and the performance of two rules is compared.It is found that one logical layer link deletion rule and two logical layer link deletion rule can effectively improve traffic capacity of three-layer networks,and two logical layers link deletion rule is better than one logical layer link deletion rule.3)Considering the effect of high-degree nodes in two logical layers on the traffic capacity of the network,a resource allocation optimization strategy is proposed to improve traffic capacity of three-layer networks with two logical layers share one physical layer.Under the condition of keeping the total capacity of physical layer nodes unchanged,the traffic capacity of the three-layer networks is improved by reasonably allocating the delivery capability of physical layer nodes.The simulation results show that compared with the initial three-layer network without the resource allocation optimization strategy,the three-layer network after the resource allocation optimization strategy is better in terms of network traffic capacity,average packet travel time and average throughput.
