Traditional imaging can only obtain 2D information of the scene and lose the depth information. As a kind of computational imaging, light field imaging can obtain not only the twodimensional information of the scene, but also the depth information. At present, the methods of obtaining depth information by light field imaging mainly include: microlens array, camera array, etc.Light field imaging technology based on microlens array is most commonly used due to its simple and compact structure. However, the use of microlens array will sacrifice two-dimensional spatial resolution and chromatic aberration is serious. Therefore, overcoming the limitations and problems existing in light field imaging is significative. In this thesis,we studied and proposed Fourier domain sampling light field imaging with modulation in the imaging plane based on singlepixel imaging to solve the problems of two-dimensional spatial resolution decline and chromatic aberration existing in the light field imaging technology of microlens array. On the one hand, for the low spatial resolution of image due to the trade-off between spatial and angular information in light field imaging based on microlens array,we combining with the single-pixel imaging to carries out research on the Fourier domain sampling light field imaging technology via modulating image in the imaging plane. The light field is modulated by a spatial light modulator set on the image plane, and the light field information is collected by a twodimensional array detector set on the rear focal plane of a lens(the Fourier spectrum plane). Each pixel(or bundling multiple pixels)on the two-dimensional detector is set as a single pixel detector, and the single pixel detectors at different positions can reconstruct two-dimensional images containing different angular information according to the single pixel imaging reconstruction algorithm.According to the principle of single pixel imaging, the spatial resolution of the image reconstructed by each single pixel detector is only determined by the modulation pattern on the spatial light modulator, and the spatial light modulator is equivalent to a virtual detector to collect two-dimensional spatial image information,so the problem of the trade-off between spatial and angular information is solved. On the other hand, for the trade-off between spatial, angular and color information and the problem of chromatic aberration in color light field imaging,we propose the Fourier domain sampling color light field imaging technology via modulating image in the imaging plane, and presents three implementation plans: using red, green and blue color pattern to modulate separately or using color coding pattern to modulate, and using the monochrome camera;using red, green and blue color pattern to modulate simultaneously, and using color camera.Experiments show that the proposed schemes can solve the problem of the trade-off between spatial, angular and color information and the problem of chromatic aberration caused by using microlens array. To sum up,the Fourier domain sampling light field imaging technology via modulating image in the imaging plane can effectively solve the problem of the trade-off between spatial, angular and color information and the problem of chromatic aberration caused by the use of microlens array, and realize light-field imaging with high spatial resolution.Because the system has simple structure,it can be integrated into a portable light field camera, the proposed imaging technology is very significant to be used in life science, industry, military and other fields.
