The Design And Realization Of The Ancient City Narrative Map Oriented To Media Convergence

As a witness of human civilization,the cultural heritage in the ancient city makes the memory of civilization more vivid and the urban living environment continues.Protecting and inheriting this precious wealth left to us by history is also our historic mission.To inherit the ancient city culture,it is necessary to reflect the regional characteristics of the ancient city,discover the historical context of the ancient city,and tell the historical story of the ancient city.Narrative map integrates the advantages of narratology in the expression of time dimension and the advantages of cartography in the expression of space dimension.Narrative map is a new direction of cartography in recent years,and it also provides a suitable space narrative carrier for the narrative of ancient cities.In terms of information dissemination,the development of convergence media technology has brought fresh blood to various fields,and has brought a new way of communication to traditional narrative expression.At the same time,cartography has also undergone tremendous changes in media and map language,which puts forward new requirements for the design and expression of maps.However,the current expression of the ancient city narrative map has not yet established a systematic theoretical system.In addition,how to design maps for converged media in order to better adapt to the changes brought about by media expansion is also an urgent problem to be solved in cartography in the era of converged media.In response to the above problems,this article analyzes the temporal and spatial characteristics of the ancient city,studies the constituent elements and element relationships of the ancient city narrative map,and constructs a conceptual model of the knowledge graph of the ancient city narrative map to describe it.On this basis,according to the characteristics of the elements and the temporal and spatial relations between the elements,the expression methods are studied separately,which provides a theoretical and methodological basis for the expression of the narrative map of the ancient city.Finally,according to the characteristics of each map media,combined with the needs of the ancient city narrative map in the integrated media environment,a design idea is proposed,so as to provide a reference for the design and dissemination of the narrative map in the integrated media environment.The specific research content includes:(1)Construction of narrative map knowledge graph based on time and space characteristics of ancient cities.Based on the theories of literature,architecture,art,geography,etc.,starting from the principles of ancient city narration,the time and space characteristics of the ancient city were analyzed.After that,the time and space perspective of geography were introduced into the ancient city narrative,to study the constituent elements and element structure of the ancient city narrative map.By constructing a conceptual model of the knowledge graph of the narrative map of the ancient city,analyzed and described the relationship between the elements of the narrative map,so as to provide a theoretical framework for the expression of the ancient city narrative map.(2)Research on the expression methods of the elements and time-space relationship of the narrative map of the ancient city.According to the Knowledge Graph of the ancient city narrative map,combined with the characteristics of the ancient city and the types of narrative elements,the selection method of the ancient city spacerelated elements and the selection principle of the ancient city event-related elements were respectively proposed,and their temporal and spatial relationships were analyzed.On this basis,draw lessons from the ancient city narrative methods of literature,architecture,and art,according to the characteristics of each element and the time-space relationship between the elements,the expression methods of the elements and their relationships were respectively proposed,so as to provide a method basis for the realization of the narrative map of the ancient city.(3)According to the types and characteristics of map media in the converged media environment,and combined with the needs of the ancient city narrative map in the converged media environment,design ideas were proposed.Finally,using the ancient city of Qingjiangpu as the research area,the case design of the narrative map of the ancient city oriented to the convergence media was realized to verify the design method proposed in this paper.
