This paper from the perspective of micro habitat, through the combination of model test and numerical simulation test, plane under different flow rate three-dimensional hydraulic characteristics simulation study, and choose crucian carp as an indicator species, combined with its swimming ability and behavior habits, the fish nest block has fish habitat function. The research on this topic is of great theoretical significance to fill the shortcomings of theoretical research on fish nest block, and also has great practical significance to the optimization and application of fish nest block structure. The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)The swimming ability test and related literature research were carried out to master the swimming speed of three kinds of crucian carp that designed the subsequent nest block design and verify its habitat function.(2)The size of the fish nest block was designed, and the physical model test was carried out accordingly. The flow rate of each measuring point inside the fish nest block when the mainstream glass sink was 0.566 m/s was measured and recorded, and the maximum flow rate location and flow field distribution rules were analyzed.(3)Simulate the 3D hydraulic characteristics of fish nest blocks under three different working conditions, and calculate the maximum flow rate and flow field distribution of fish nest blocks at different inlet flow rates. The simulation results agree well with the model test results.(4)Combined with crucian carp swimming ability and behavior habits, comparison analyzed the fish nest block of the maximum flow rate, flow field, orderly kinetic energy hydrodynamic parameters, discusses the above hydraulic parameters and fish suitable habitat hydraulic conditions, verify the fish nest block in low velocity and high velocity under two channels of fish habitat function.
